Can you believe that at the end of the night every single NFC North team may end up 0-1?

Not really meant as a slam against Drew, but I have a feeling that if Drew had been playing the Saints wouldn't have blown the Packers out like they did.

Major props to Calvin Throckmorton! Forced into action unexpectedly at RG very early in the game and he did a very respectable job.

Sounds like it was a terrific all-around performance...

Told today we may have power by Friday, full-speed Internet will be up the next day - maybe then?

Saw some comments about Adebo playing well, knew he was the goods...

Appreciate the shout-out about Marcus Williams (pay that man) or it's back to Jairus Byrd days...

Killing me to miss the game, can't wait to watch it...

Heat, Humidity and the Hogs are killin' us...

“I think we would have loss.“

Maybe rez, but I don’t think so with the way the o line played. The running game was a monster. Can see now why they felt Ok letting the L Train go. Of course Winston made plays with his feet too.

So I wonder what the #NationalTalkingHeads will be saying about the Saints tomorrow? Power Ranking?

Glad they had a complete performance to start the season, against Rodgers no less...

Considering how some Packers fans were acting pregame - you don't f*ck with the football gods...

I was texting a friend and he said "we got a gift" to which I replied "we get so few" :)

Re: Packers @ Saints Game Day Thread

For the Packer fans whining about the "roughing call" ...

You can thank Tom Brady, Patrick M, Rodgers & Dak for those weak calls. In today's game, the league simply isn't allowing QB's to take those shots like they did in the late 80's & 90's. Especially with marquee name QB's in prime time. Money makers for the "shield".

Different league.

ScottyRo 09-13-2021 11:12 AM

Re: Packers @ Saints Game Day Thread

The roughing call was bad...I think we all know that.

We should also know that the league is protecting its QBs and the problem here for the defender is that he went high on Winston. Had he gone at the rib cage or ribs...it's GB ball. There was just no reason for the guy to hit Winston that high and it cost him whether the call was good or not.

I've been hoping to see this guy ascend - not that I wanted to see McCoy injured - but with a name like that you just have to root for the guy.
