Please vote for him as Pepsi rookie of the week. He’s the only defender on list.
There was a bunch of talk about not throwing him out there early because it may kill his confidence if he gets torched. I was one. Not only did he play well, that INT against last years MVP was more than enough to build his confidence. Plus he played a lot of snaps against Adams.

And played 100% of the defensive snaps.

Week 1: Per PFF targeted 4 times on 40 coverage snaps. 1 catch for 13 yards. Not too shabby considering the competition and QB he was facing. He definitely earned the right to be on this list. Got my vote.

He was only targeted 4 times, but you know AR was looking at him on most plays and just didn't see any opening.

Loved his 2019 Stanford tape, but I was worried about his development after sitting out last season. No worries anymore though. He and Lattimore will be a great duo for the next 5+ years.

Gotta say, when he grabbed that Int he really showed good speed. If Kaden Ellis got a better block, it would have been a pick 6.
