This has nothing to do with wr getting separation but Winston being more familiar with the wr running their routes. This could be blame on the qb competition that took away a lot of practice time working with the ones. Plus, most of these wr were on practice squad longer than the 53 roster. That being said, Winston must realize that you don’t take unnecessary risk when the odds are in your favor to put points on the boards. That play to Callaway could’ve easily turn the game in the favor to the patriots
