Game day parking - Saints home game
 

Anyone have any good suggestions on game day parking for the Dome? We're going to have to drive back almost five hours immediately after the Giants game and I was hoping to find something convenient to I-10 west that is fairly close. We usually aren't in much of a hurry and stay the night and park way down in the Quarter, but we are having to get home sooner. We could, of course, get Dome parking, but that could be pretty congested trying to get out.

I haven't been to a game this year to make any suggestions. The city is slower than usual after the storm. Many places are closed and tons of signs took damage from Hurricane Ida.

When I used to go to games, I parked on the other side of Claiborne right off of Poydras somewhere on the street. Easy access and egress after the game. Just gotta do a little walking, not that much though, maybe three/four blocks.

I always arrived early and took Poydras exit right at dome. Turn left at light at bottom of exit. Take another left and park on street by the hospital. Free and only a couple of blocks from dome.

Oh when you leave head straight at I 10 and turn right when you get to it there is a I 10 W on ramp
