Since you asked Rueben, the guy was much drunker than I, and he was feeling his oats so to speak because he had recently finalized his divorce. Although he invited me and told me to wear saints gear, he razzed me the whole time,, tried to grab my Saints flag from me, and finally in the 4th when they were coming back, he grabbed my cap off my head. He did it twice and I was cool, the third time I was ready and grabbed his wrist in a lock. Told him eye to eye “ don’t grab my friggin cap anymore. It hurts and I don’t like it. Don’t do it again!”. Tense eye stare for a few and I was hoping no punches would be thrown. There weren’t. Later on he apologized and said he could see how pissed I was.

Funny thing is I was quiet through most of the game. When they were down 21-3 and booing their team I was saying the game wasn’t over. That guy was ready to leave in the third q. I told them to stay and sure enough they close to one score and he grabbed my hat.

I'm glad to hear it didn't end in a :duel::lightsabres:, Boston Saint. Also glad that the cheerleaders provided a pleasant distraction for ya and most importantly you were able to enjoy(the 2.5 altercation notwithstanding) a Saints victory, on the road against a great coach in Belichick and the Patriots.:bng::drink:

I'll just say this. You're a better man than I am. He would have been spitting teeth had he done that to me. I have zero patience with trouble makers.

There's been enough incidents of cats on the baseball and football field now. Might as well suit one up.

Okay. Cheerleader update from the stands. The Saintsations are officially gone. The new squad is basically like that of major colleges. No more glorified dance lines that perform choreographed routines on the field during commercials and halftime. As for that, good riddance. Exactly like college squads, it is made up of about 30 or so young ladies that are extremely well versed in gymnastics, tumbling, and acrobatics. There are about six guys that can snap "Jesse" in two with ease. They are definitely not dancers. They have, in their own right, obvious gymnastic backgrounds (like college male cheerleaders) and perform lifts and throws with the female cheerleaders, but demonstrated some pretty significant tumbling of their own.

There is truly more of a college atmosphere to their presence. It is a definite improvement.

I was a gymnast in college and they wanted me to be a cheerleader. My girlfriend's father said we would have to break up if I did.
