6 - 7 extra points. 4-5 FG attempts. Is that not consistent? He couldn't be any worse than the Cody or the dude we just cut. You can only do so much when Tucker is getting all the reps at practice. Nonetheless, Verity is a damn good kicker & sure as hell got my attention in the preseason and also against playing us (53 yarder). Pre-season is for evaluation right? As Matthew pointed out, Verity was only 14-21 in FG attempts his senior year at East Carolina. 74-98 his entire career. He was no more than average at a small school. What's the hype? |
