Before MI left what was their nickname Boom & Zoom or Rhythm & Bruise

I actually hated that we let him walk. I was a huge MI fan. Team player and just seemed like a great guy.

Welcome home Mark.

I'm really happy about this.

I’m a bit torn on this. Love the player...love that they made a move. But he’s aged a bit and has extra mileage on him and he doesn’t run many pass routs. But, he should be very familiar with the schemes and terminology. Plus, as I remember, he was excellent at blocking for Brees on pass plays. He would step up and lay hits on guys rushing the backfield. This sort of intangible may be a key reason he was brought back. Hope the pick investment wasn’t too much.

I always felt he was underrated on the screens.

Also would be interesting to see if they look for line help/depth with Peat on his sandwich break. I trust Throck, but some depth is gonna be needed.

His days here are numbered. He’ll have a hard time finding work in the league when his days here are done. Jameis ain’t doing that to no one else on the roster with an important role.

Out of this world glad to have Ingram back though.

I'm a father of three as well. If my kid is out there giving less than 100% I'm all for the QB getting in thier face.

TreQuan is missing out on a great opportunity in the NFL.

Many who've had the NFL Opportunity never fully realized what it could do for their lives until it was gone...

Not only are these people grown men, they're NFL players. Bullying doesn't exist in this realm of things. Jameis was well within his right to do what he did. I applaud that.

is Nick Toon the son of NFL WR(I remember him from the Jets) Al Toon?

I ain’t gonna do it. No. Y’all got me on here defending TreQuan Smith. Almost had me.
But y’all do realize the guy ain’t played a meaningful football game in almost a year. So this notion that he doesn’t want to WIN because he got undressed by Jameis is just wrong. Smith just isn’t very skilled.
AK lined up on the wrong side of the formation twice in the game that I counted. Let Jameis try it.

Got me sorta kinda defending 3QUAN. lol

Nick Toon is Al's Son and Nick was here back in 2014. But unless I'm missing something Nick last played for the Rams in 2015.
It's now 2021 about six years later so what's up with that..
Didn't Brandon Coleman retire back in 2019 are things getting that desperate out there.

Peat knows it only as a Sammich, there always is a stack in the medical tent.
He knows they are in there so screw the damn game Peats just got to get in that tent.

Yes sir, that's his dad ... big, strong, and had those long strides. My dad used to call him the "slightly slower version of Randy Moss". It's a shame he had so many concussions otherwise he's in the Hall of Fame.

He was a beast of a player.

So thus far, the Saints have been digging around the Texans' bargain bin trading for players (Roby & Ingram) ...

Maybe one more @ WR perhaps?

Sad to look at the post this week and learn how excited some are about an old RB who can't play. Imagine thinking an aging Ingram can save your awful offense. Think the Bucs game will be an eye opener for what you actually have in this team. Not gonna be a good feeling for you fans.

3.2 yards per carry with the Texans sad O-line is actually pretty good.

That was my first thought. What kinda line is he running behind? Any other threats to take the focus off him? With Alvin and Mark, jeesh if we could even pass a little bit we'd be cookin' with fire.

Re: Saints Trade for RB Mark Ingram

Hard to judge him playing on the Texans. Teams know they cant beat the over the top so can focus on playing the run.

FYI I have Ingram on my fantasy team and may need to start him because CMac is still out and my other RB's are very iffy plays (Devonte Booker, Mike Davis, Mattison)

May he have 100 yards and 4 TDs for you this week ! (as long as Kamara stays healthy!).

Ingram's still showing as a Texan on my fantasy team. Are we doing this thing or not?

No. I think we need to do what we can to get Winston a receiver just so the organization can get a good look at Winston to see how he does with all the tools he needs. It doesn’t have to be Cooks but it would be nice to spend a little coin to get an honest look at him to see if he is indeed the future. We don’t need to bet the house but he really doesn’t have many options and I’m beginning to wonder if we see Thomas again.
Our defense is championship ready, our offensive line isn’t what it once was. If our line was playing like it has in the past I might go all in but at the moment our offense isn’t just a player or two away from helping us get to a championship.

At the end of the day the coaches know what they have in Winston already and likely know what they are going to do about the Qb position next year anyway.

Plus the most likely were over it by the time they got back to the locker room.
When I was a kid you get bullied, you fight, you're good friends from then on.

I’m not sure I get what you are asking. But when your team is two games over 500 and sitting in a playoff spot I think it makes sense to improve the team.
