Love him or hate him, he did bring the Saints their first winning season and actual playoff appearance.

Mora is 86 years young ... his voice is such a throwback :). My dad loved his coaching style while in the USFL.

He looks fantastic & full of energy and enthusiasm.

Good stuff here.

It was learned later by former players, including on the Bobby Hebert Show, that he didn't trust his offensive players...

And was in fact Jim Mora, the real culprit, behind Carl Smith's ultra conservative playcalling...

That said, he brought toughness and respectability when it seemed this franchise would never have it - younger fans, think DET, JAX, NYJ, but worse...

And those ultra-standout defensive efforts by the Dome Patrol, other than ReBirth, the Dome was never louder...

But he absolutely deserves, and long-overdue, a place in the Saints Hall of Fame...
