Saints tried out three running backs today. Have been hearing whispers that Kamara might have gotten a little banged up on Sunday. Something to monitor this week.

Ugh just what we needed, that's what happens when none of the Receivers can do their job and Kamara has to front the whole offense.

Bound to happen… He’s on pace for 310 carries and 68 catches.

68 catches would be a career low (81, 81, 81, 83). 310 carries, however, would be about 75% more than his previous average. The addition of Ingram should ease that load some.

Or Ingram? I don't remember seeing him later in the game or am I mistaken?

I do remember him getting a little shaken up after one play but he went back in a play or two later. Didn’t see him much more after that.

The New Orleans Saints hosted running backs Kerryon Johnson, Rodney Smith and Josh Adams for workouts Tuesday, fueling speculation about lead running back Alvin Kamara’s status for Week 10 against the Tennessee Titans.
Looks like Practice Squad guys, shame we missed out on Adrian but we should be seeing a lot of him this weekend.

Simple genetics. Look don't know of an athlete that has maximized his physical talents or works harder in the NFL than Alvin Kamara - #MuchRespect...

That said, he should not have more than 15-20 touches per game, with only 2-4 touches between the tackles with his lean body frame and our guard play...

Our receivers couldn't catch COVID in a Chinese lab licking bat cage floors.


We need more RBs so that Kamara can spend more time being thrown to. He is tied in the NFC at 18th with 72% catch rate. He also 11th in the league for rushing yards.

AK is literally the only ***king player that shows up in the first pane of receiver leader boards.

In two games, Mark Ingram has 7 rec/55 yards --> 100.0% catch rate. That should tell you how bad of a WR group we have in New Orleans.

Can you imagine how ugly it could get if/when Deonte Harris is suspended by the league?

Our receivers...need to prove us wrong if the team has any hope.

There have been flashes here and there. Very few...but Smith, Callaway, and Stills have all made a catch here and there in the past that have contributed to wins. So has White. It’s a long shot...but it’s the best shot there is.

We have a third string QB throwing to third string WRs who haven’t had many reps together. Things could get better. With practice, Smith, Callaway, White, Stills and whatever help Harris, Trautman and Hill can kick in could be enough. Don’t know why Humphries or Johnson aren’t seeing some time either.

I guess we'll know more about AK once that injury report comes out later today.

Wasn't Dwayne Washington slow getting up on a special teams play? That could also call for more RB depth.

I would only counter that we had a 1st string QB throwing to these clowns and they let him down too. It is true they can only get better. I doubt I've see a worse WR corp performance.

You're right. Either they stop sucking or JP and the gang can start their draft talk right now.
