I used to be regular here but after the No Call I kinda gave up on the NFl for a bit but the of course the Saints reeled me back in.

So I slipped back into Saints Report and man that place is just getting awful. I don't why I waited so long to come back here.

Stuff works wonders. On my cruise last week I believe death was around the corner from my blockage. Eating all that food. Popped 3 of them, do believe it saved my life.

im getting discouraged not by the Saints, but by the NFL which directly affects the Saints. Hard to trust the NFL anymore since sports betting is now nationwide and the No call was proof that they dont ever intend on letting them go to a SB no time soon. They going to continue to find ways to get Brady into the SB if not Rodgers, they been trying it for years and sometimes it dont work, you end up with SB mismatches which we have seen more of in the past 5-6 years than ever before. Last week was first time I visited this forum in a while myself.

Saints report has always been a terrible place though, ive even manage to get banned off there some years back.

I dont even get upset like I used to with these calls. After the no call I expect it. I barely mumbled a cuss word on the personal foul against the Titans. Now they are controlling outcomes with this bull**** taunting flag. Roger has destroyed the N.F.L and needs to get robbed or at least a good beat down.

coincides when they allowed Sports betting to be legalized in all places.

They been pretty predictable the last 2 weeks with this BS to.

There have been horrible calls forever. Social media has brought it to the forefront. The changes in the rules to enforce safety have also been a factor in recent years. Half the refs have no clue how to enforce them correctly. Sports betting has nothing to do with it. It is in the gambling industries best interest to have the games be completely above board. Manipulation hurts their bottom line and lack of integrity could destroy their NFL cash cow.

Don't forget that it was the gambling industry that discovered NBA ref Tim Donaghy was influencing games back in 2006 or so and reported him to the FBI.

The only person you would need permission to be here from is HALO, and if your typing is showing up, then He approves. I dont know if you've ever met Halo in real life, but he's a super nice guy, with a super sweet lady-- and together, they're quite comical.

I've blasted Site-X here, but really, there are a couple 1,000 really cool dudes there. If PrimaDox is still a Mod over there, she, and her husband used to do our old MudBugs gatherings, here in H-town, and they're great people.
Most people there are good folk.

My experience was that the loudest clique of mouths were a small band of political extremists, and I made the mistake of engaging them. I was new to the internet, & didnt understand the whole Nerds-pretending-to-be-tough-guys dynamic. also didnt get that most of the really ugly ones dont actually leave their house, and dont represent Saints fans. I think the prob with Site-X is that some of their other mods are biased, and target the wrong people for the wrong things. Kinda like FB "fact-checkers." Its a shame.

Anyway, Im glad I discovered B&G. This is still a great site, filled with great people, and if someone says the wrong thing to you, you can say whatever back, and nobody bans you. You dont need much moderation here, anyway, because the posters here tend to be grownups, or at least grownups who dont still think like teenagers. I particularly love all the Old Guys here, who sat in Tulane Stadium. There should be some sort of special gold plaque for them.

Really, no one should concern themselves with what anyone from an internet chat board says or thinks. So I hope you'll burst thru the door, be yourself, and have fun.

As for Saints chat. I let my season tix go, and I cant even tell you what their record is now, or who they play this week. (I actually dont know who is playing QB now) But I'll always love my 2nd home, NOLA, and I have a bunch of friends here, many whom I know in real life, so yeah. I like to pop in, see whats happening, how everyone's doing, how their mama and them are doing, and what's for dinner.

Hard to believe its not in the NFL or any other sport for that matter.

One of the most telling signs of that that no one will explain is how did Tampa Bay which is the most penalized team in the NFL or close to it, all of a sudden become one of the least penalized once Brady got settled in midway last season?

If we allow personal foul penalties to become judgemental, that opens the book for corruption.

Last week former NFL safety Solomon Wilcots told of something that happened to him during a game. There was a blatantly bad holding call on a teammate that was called by a particular official. He said he complained about the call to the officially and the ref got into it with him a bit. Later in the game the same ref called a phantom penalty on Wilcots which was obviously retaliation for questioning him earlier. Wilcots said this sort of thing happens all of the time. Certain refs have it out for certain players. Conversely, certain refs tend to favor certain players.

This has nothing to do with manipulating outcomes or some sort of conspiracy. This is pure and simply incompetent officiating.

I want to thank you and others for letting your season tickets go. After 15 years on the waiting list we finally got ours shortly before this season started!
