Pre-Game Saints vs Feagles Weekly line thread: Eagles -1.5 vs Saints

The Feagles are coming off their best game of the season & have emerged as favorites on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Saints are losers in two straight games & urgently need this game (currently in the 6th NFC seed) however trending down.

Thoughts :bng:?

Um...idk. The Saints are keeping things competitive but the mistakes, penalties and missed opportunities are killers.

I have no idea what team will show up...or which kicker. Lol

Hopefully getting Kamara back will be huge. Also, home field advantage is at a historically low level. Home teams have won just 48.1% of 2021 games to date. That's lower than the all-time record low rate of 50.6% seen last year in 2020 with little to no fans in the seats.

IMO Home field advantage in basketball/football HS/minors/college/pros is becoming a thing of the past. The 21st century world of social media and constant distractions has changed things, and now there is a slight advantage to being on the road for team sports. Teams feel more together and can feel that us-versus-the-world mindset on the road, and that is actually starting to outweigh the noise/advantage of the home crowd/lockers and such. Teams on the road in general are performing and focusing a bit better now.

Saints usually play UP to the competition & down to non-playoff bound teams.

Eagles have 8 takeaways vs Saints 13.
Against the spread, we are 5-4.
When wearing color rush, Saints are 9-3.
In Philadelphia's 10 games this season, it has five wins against the spread.

If the horrible TE plays then Eagles win. If Traut gets benched then we have a chance. Depending on the refs. **** it doesnt even matter who the refs are anymore they will gangbang us anyway.

Yes, Trautman made a boneheaded penalty this last game and dropped a pass, but he was also targeted six times and had five catches which led the team.

Just sayin'.

True, however in film study all coaches will circle, showcase and illustrate are the mental error(s) (holding penalties/false starts) Adam continues to make. The false start vs the Titans was costly.

If Nick Vannett is healthy, he needs to play on Sunday. Not trying to pile on AT but the miscues outweigh all of those catches.

Team loss though.

I look forward to seeing all 6 ft 6 257 lbs of Vannett on the field Sunday.
