WHAT CAN POSSIBLY MAKE THIS A WINNING THANKSGIVING?

Anybody? Somebody give me a scenario that might even be remotely hopeful...

We just need to get a few players back. Kamara should be back. Hopefully Taysom starts. Also hopefully Payton held both Armstead and Ramsczyk out to be able to play Thursday. The Bills have not been playing that great. They've lost three of their last five only beating the Jets and the Dolphins.

How about stopping the opposing team on third downs? Would that help?

Cajun Fried Turkey and all the fix-ins plenty of cold beer and a bottle of Ezra Brooks.
By Kick-Off time all you'll see is Black Jerseys out there you'll think your watching the Saints but you won't be sure.

Thursday feels like a get right game for Buffalo. Sadly.

Passes that don’t quack and hands that do not spasm on contact. A little bit of discipline and a lot fewer penalties. We look like sh1t and do not tell me that starters are out, with the exception of QB and Center all starters generally rotate with the person that is starting for them now.

If you can not survive past your starting lineup in the NFL you shouldn’t be there.

Guido...I blocked you but unfortunately I still see your posts when people quote you. That being said..15-5? Dude...being optimistic is one thing. But 15-5?

That's not logical or rational. Or realistic.

Must be a neat little world you live in. Is there fairy's and talking animals? Are the houses made of cupcakes and the rivers are chocolate?

Lol...dude...if your true and absolute expectation is 15-5...you should stop drinking this early in the morning. But I think you just say that because you LOOOOVE that attention. Lol.

I respect everyone's right to their own opinion. But what you're saying isn't opinion. it's just BS.

I'm sorry, but why must I try to come up with some realistic expectations? I am a fan. I hope for a win every week. Those hopes are periodically not met but I will continue to have them. If that somehow bothers you or anyone else then that is your issue.

I am usually able to accept the fact when they do not, but I see nothing to gain by having the expectation.

Same. Its why I want to see Book. It has nothing to do with diminished hope. For me its looking forward. I'm old enough to remember Troy Aikman getting the hell kicked out of him his rookie year. 1 win. It. Was. Brutal.

Put the kid in. Under pressure. If he sucks or is overwhelmed put Taysom or Trevor back in. Preach it to the team so they rally around the kid. Let him play it out the rest of the way. Jameis is your starter next year unless this kid pulls a Brady or a Delhomme or even a Brooks. If he's competent at all you know our fans will get behind him. We are starving for a leader.

I would be blown away if Coach actually did it, but I wouldn't be mad at him if he did. I fully expect we're about to drop at least one of our next two. I'd say we will be expected to lose 2 of our next three. If that plays out, maybe Sean would consider it.

Look, we had a WR over the middle...Calloway against Slay I think. Good ball and good coverage. Thomas would have caught it. Colston would have caught it. Irvin would have caught it. Calloway is an NFL WR, but he's not one of those kinds of receivers. That's why he didn't catch it. Brees would have led him a little more. It would have been an even better ball, but still good coverage and I swear Calloway would still drop it. It's why you pay MT a lot more than you pay Calloway.

Book doesn't fix that. We don't have anybody on the roster that'll fix that. These guys will flash. Hope springs eternal. We drafted the kid. Put him in and keep hoping.

My wife and I went to the Packers/Cowboys game his rookie year. The Cowboys were horrible. They had nothing to lose putting Aikman in there. The playoffs were not even a dream. But, it was the Cowboys' plan to start Aikman day one. It was why he was drafted. Book wasn't drafted to play at all in 2021 and the playoffs are still a very real possibility. Perhaps if we were somehow mathematically eliminated it might be a possibility. But, with the way things are looking in the NFC the final couple of wild cards spots may very well be open to half the teams in the conference up until the final week.

Cleaning up the penalties alone will result in 7-10 points. Would be nice to be able to include the kicking game into the game plan. Getting healthy would help.

Why would he hold them back in a conference game so they can be healthy for a non conference game? If he held them back it’s because they couldn’t go. You don’t try to “save players” in a meaningful game. I’ve seen you argue that point a million times on here.

I'm saying they may have been able to play if absolutely needed, but if five additional days of rest prepares them for more of the upcoming season then it may be worth it.

Change his focal point and watch him change his argument. You'll know he's lost when he goes personal.

Re: WHAT CAN POSSIBLY MAKE THIS A WINNING THANKSGIVING?

We have to make a change at QB. We can't change our receivers at this point. The offense is just not there. If our receivers can't separate, and they don't seem to we need to have a credible running weapon at QB that the Defense has to respect. Maybe that will help open up the passing game. Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result...

Trevor throws 4 picks before halftime. Hill goes in and gets concussed on the last play of the 1st half. We're down 3 scores. Book comes in, plays out of his mind and leads the team to the big Thanksgiving win.

Loomis immediately signs Ian to a 5 year 250 million dollar contract.

hitta 11-24-2021 06:24 PM

Re: WHAT CAN POSSIBLY MAKE THIS A WINNING THANKSGIVING?

Trevor and Taysom both have potential to be our starter imo. I'm fine with Trevor, I don't think the dude is playing bad(his advanced statistics show that he's playing pretty well). He has nobody around him. We need to get some of our line back and we need someone to catch the ball. Kamara coming back would help a lot. If we had a healthy line, Michael Thomas, perhaps another good receiver, and a healthy Kamara, I think we can compete for a Super Bowl with Trevor and I think Sean knows this, which is why he is out there.

Hey that's my fever dream!

Well, not the 250 million contract. We need money for receivers and stuff.
