Charge was more reduced than dropped; waiting for the league shoe to fall now...

What shoe is there to fall? He had possession of a gun that was licensed to himself. He readily told the officer he had the gun in his possession. The only reason they accepted the plea deal was because it wasn't worth the time fighting it since it will end up being expunged from his previously spotless record anyway. I would be surprised if they hadn't already discussed this with the league already. I can see the league wanting this to go quietly away as there was nothing criminal involved.
