Payton obviously feels an injured Taysom gives us more than Book. That doesn't surprise me at all. Former Irish head coach Charlie Weis said at the beginning of the season that he liked Ian Book, but he was no where close to being ready to play in the NFL at this time.

Payton wants to win as badly as you and I and clearly more so than those fans that wants us to tank for a higher draft pick.

Ian is inactive today

It’s a good thing we are up against the JETS.
