Sean has the keys to the franchise like no other coach save Belichick... Sean has a media bodyman and a tamed local press corps with little to no pressure... If Sean leaves, it will be because he's done with football... Besides Belichick, Only three other coaches in the NFL had it similarly - Lombardi, Landry, and Shula... If Sean leaves for another job, he'd have to have all those conditions contractually... |

Payton is not going to Jacksonville. He may not be in New Orleans his whole career, but if he leaves there are probably 28-30 other franchises that he would be more likely to go to than Jacksonville.
