you got it Scotty. There are no words to express my anger and disappointment right now and I know you all feel the same way.

SaintStoneyMount 09-19-2005 09:43 PM

This sucks.....I'm sick

Rsanders24 09-19-2005 09:47 PM

How in the hell does our line block well against the best D-line in the NFL but can't block againt an average line with 3 DT's playing?

CheramieIII 09-19-2005 09:50 PM

Because they are all stupid and you need to change them all out. Get rid of AB, Haz, Carney all of the o line, conwell, craft and lewis

CheramieIII 09-19-2005 09:51 PM

If you thought it wasnt going to get any worse sorry it just did

SaintStoneyMount 09-19-2005 09:52 PM

Now that beats all. a touchback. Bad calls. Game over. Who we got next week?

ScottyRo 09-19-2005 09:54 PM

Horn was trying to score. You can't knock the effort. It's not like this game was going to be close anyway even with the score. We'd have been down by 10 with less than 4 mins to play had he scored on that. e

CheramieIII 09-19-2005 09:58 PM

everyone is at fault for this crap they call a professional football team and we have Minnesota next week who hasnt won a game yet and will pound us into the Metrodome turf for 4 quarters next week.

SaintStoneyMount 09-19-2005 09:58 PM

Can't blame Horn...Stalworth played well also. Running game sucked. Brooks sucked. Conwell sucked. Carney sucked. o-line sucked. Coaching sucked. Ref's sucked. More sucking than in the VIP at Magic City.

Rsanders24 09-19-2005 10:00 PM

It's still carelessness! They always look like a bunch of two year olds when they play on national TV. It's like they can't believe that they are playing in front of everyone!

UK_WhoDat 09-19-2005 10:01 PM

We plain messed up today - in every single department. Some truths are also showing for some players.

This will be a turning point for the GOOD! All of our errors were unforced, and the still the Giants could not wipe us out.

We also commited these momentum killing dumb penalties:

1st Quarter
NOS on Offense
PENALTY on NO-E.Conwell, False Start, 5 yards, enforced at NO 22 - No Play.
PENALTY on NO-T.Melton, Ineligible Downfield Kick, 5 yards, enforced at NYG 19.
NOS kick-off
PENALTY on NO-M.Mitchell, Unnecessary Roughness, 14 yards, enforced at NO 28.
On Offense
PENALTY on NO-W.Gandy, False Start, 5 yards, enforced at NYG 21 - No Play.

2nd Quarter
NOS kick-off
PENALTY on NO-T.Melton, Offside on Free Kick, 5 yards, enforced at NO 30 - No Play.
NYG on Offense
PENALTY on NO-J.Sullivan, Encroachment, 5 yards, enforced at NYG 31 - No Play.
NOS on Offense
PENALTY on NO-J.Brown, False Start, 3 yards, enforced at NO 7 - No Play.
NYG on Offense
PENALTY on NO-F.Thomas, Illegal Block Above the Waist, 5 yards, enforced at NO 10.
NOS on Offense
PENALTY on NO-L.Bentley, Offensive Holding, 10 yards, enforced at NO 24 - No Play.
NYG on Offense
PENALTY on NO-S.Hodge, Illegal Contact, 5 yards, enforced at NO 37 - No Play.
NOS on kick-off return
PENALTY on NO-T.Melton, Offensive Holding, 10 yards, enforced at NO 25. Officially, a return for 17 yards.

3rd Quarter
NYG on Offense
PENALTY on NO-C.Grant, Roughing the Passer, 15 yards, enforced at NO 41 - No Play

4th Quarter
NOS on Offense
PENALTY on NO, Delay of Game, 5 yards, enforced at NYG 6 - No Play

We ought to make changes to our rushing. And yes, the return team.

Then rev up for some wins.

Rsanders24 09-19-2005 10:05 PM

Why can't you blame Horn? A fumble is a fumble regardless. Fourteen points have been scored in less than two minutes.

bayouking318 09-19-2005 10:05 PM

you forgot Deuce.......... sucked!!!!

SaintStoneyMount 09-19-2005 10:05 PM

Great job Brooks..3 picks and a fumble. Thanks dude. How soon can we ge A-Mac ready.

CheramieIII 09-19-2005 10:06 PM

How long are we going to put up with mediocrity from AB and Haz. Just throw all the ints you want now it doesnt count, yes it does, its called professionalism 6 freakin turnovers and a missed field goal over 100 years in penalties what stupid idiots.

Awesome dude. I will ignore everything you say from now on. Try the patriots or the falcons...those are great teams to root for. And your football analysis is awesome...fire the whole team. You should be a GM.

We have officially found every single way to not score on the other side of the field. I try not to over react, but we really needed to win this game. The Vikings always beat us and we have to go to their dome with them being 0-2. We are 1-2. Write it down.

What a terrible showing by us tonite. We can't run block and we can't sack the QB.

And Cheramiell....I will take the opposite approach. I will root against the team that got an extra home game at our expense. I'm so tired of the New York bias....this game should have been played at Reliant in Houston.

And all you AB amazing stat guys...well, he put up some nice numbers tonite and we scored 10 points. I'll take substance over style.

The fumble basically ended the game. (And yes, I know Conwell dropped a TD and the horn touchback sucked....but Brooks really has a way of killing the momentum.)

UK_WhoDat 09-19-2005 10:08 PM

Night peeps.

Yes - Brooks .............. did all sort of crap.

But really only the defence can come out with any credit. Shame they screwed up on their penalties.

Rsanders24 09-19-2005 10:08 PM

How soon can we get some replacement players? :bs:

SaintStoneyMount 09-19-2005 10:10 PM

Brooks killed us hands down...But the whole thing was set up by that bonehead reverse call. After the great opening drive last week, why not just get the ball in play and let the offense go to work. We started out behind and stayed there. we'll win next week against the Vikings but we need to stop making stupid mistakes.

UK_WhoDat 09-19-2005 10:10 PM

BTW - I'm back next week rooting for the Saints.

You are really falling for it - if you admire the dark side after the NFL screwed up by making us play there tonight.

And we are 1-1 NOT 1-2. ok?

ScottyRo 09-19-2005 10:11 PM

You're talking about the fumble on the idiot trick-play reverse to start the whole thing off right? That's the one that did it. All momentum shifted from that point and we never got it back.

CheramieIII 09-19-2005 10:11 PM

yasoon, please do ignore everything I say from now on and yes if I were the GM you would not have AB, Haz or Carney this year and quite possibly last year too.

UK_WhoDat 09-19-2005 10:14 PM

We will beat the Vikings if we do not make the silly mistakes. Sure - the Vikings will score, but we will hold up quite a bit, and we will rip them up.

Nuff said

SaintStoneyMount 09-19-2005 10:15 PM

AB's QB rating 66.4

CheramieIII 09-19-2005 10:16 PM

I bet you if the Saints dont make the playoffs this year that Haz and AB are gone and I'll throw in Carney for good measure.

iceshack149 09-19-2005 10:17 PM

There's plenty of blame to go around. No use in focusing on Brooks.
How many penalties did the Saints have tonight? Why was Craft starting over Thomas? Why couldn't Deuce run tonight? Does the pain in Conwells jaw effect his receiving abilities? Were there any turnovers created by the Saints defense? WHY did they try a cute trick play at the start of the game?
Not too many players stepped up tonight. Horn, Stallworth.... um.... that's all I can think of.
It certainly isn't all Brooks fault.

SaintStoneyMount 09-19-2005 10:19 PM

Our defense played a lot better tonight. unfourtunatly our offense played better defense than anyone on the field against ourselves. We kept giving them the ball with good field position and we kept ourselves out of the endzone.

Rsanders24 09-19-2005 10:20 PM

Why do we even have Hilton on the team? 1) he is 6'8" and can cath better than most of our WR's! 2) Who cares if they know that when he come into the game that we are going to throw him the ball they still have to out position and jump him. Who cares if he can't run block, we can't run outside anyway at least he can catch and has plenty of upside. (Cut Conwell, please!) 3) We can't run block anyway, it just looks like there is no technique involved at all. Just get up and plow forward. :help:

I heard very similar things last year.

Rsanders24 09-19-2005 10:22 PM

Speaking of Craft, I been away from the news on the Saints this week. What happened to F. Brown?

SaintStoneyMount 09-19-2005 10:22 PM

Note to Haz: Save the dumb trick plays for when you wind up coaching in the USA Conference. This is the pros. That first play totally sucked

SaintStoneyMount 09-19-2005 10:23 PM

Fakir banged his knee in practice on Saturday...

Finally figured out to use that quote thingy..but anyway yeah we need to focus on Brooks tonight because he had four turnovers. But you are right he wasn't the only thing stinkin in the Meadowlands

Rsanders24 09-19-2005 10:26 PM

Anyone heard anything about Troy Williamson? Probably not but wait until next week he will probably be OPOW! :hump:

What is OPOW?

papz 09-19-2005 10:31 PM

Williamson doesn't even start... he's the least of our worries. He's stuck behind Burleson, Taylor, and Robinson on the depth chart. That's like saying Minnesota should be worried about Devery and Michael Lewis.

Rsanders24 09-19-2005 10:31 PM

Offensive Player Of the Week.

stockman311 09-19-2005 10:32 PM

I think Michael Lewis blew out his knee so our problems at kick returner may have just solved themselves.

No, because we don't have the ability (for some reason) to use the speed and talent that we have. Remember M. Moore last year? No one really knew about him either, I think he was there 3rd or 4th team RB.
