Dang right. In one return Stallworth does better than Lewis has in the 2 games all together and could have taken it all the way if Craft would have just made one obvious block rather than hope to run all the way with Stallworth to the endzone. Pathetic.

How many times did he have to get beat before Venturi made a change away from Craft covering Burress? 5 or 6? At least good ol Rick showed me something I didn't think he was capable of: Making a change away from something that isn't working.

Does everyone realize Jimmy Williams is still a free agent? Craft had a horrible game this week but he had a pretty good game last week. There's a reason why he's not a starting NFL corner. Jimmy Williams is a career backup who hasn't accomplished squat his entire career. If he's as good as everyone makes him out to be, he would at least be on someone's team by now. Please get over it... Jimmy Williams is NOT the answer or reason why we lost.

Craft is MOST DEFINATELY NOT the answer. 3- 4 yard cushion AFTER Burress make the catch. Craft stinx

When Eli saw Craft covering Burress he never looked off of Burress and Craft still couldn't make a play on the ball. Maybe they should of moved Smith to CB and let Bullocks and Bellamy start at Safety.

To the Craft basher on the punt return... yes you're right... BUT
If Donte makes a block for Deuce on that pass right before the end of the first half...
Deuce takes it to the house too.

I have 2 things to say.

1.I'm so glad the saints saved that awesome 13 penalty, 6 turnover performance for my first nfl game ever.

2. Craft sucks, plain and simple. He got beat on the same exact comeback route two plays in a row, and then he got burned on a simple out pattern by about 6 yards that would have been a TD had Manning not overthrown the ball.

so im not going ot defend crafts less than par play. but i will say is how tall is plaxico burress? 6'5"? 6'6"? how tall is craft? 5'10? my question is why do we have craft trying to cover someone whose head and shoulders and torso above him? I blame Venturi for not, get this, making adjustments.

Venturi certainly took long enough maybe a change, but i don't think it is a question of height. It would have been a question had a jump ball been the issue we are talking about. The fact is, before, during, and after the snap of the ball Craft was 5 yards away from the receiver.

So I'm watching the game with my homeboys and about 5 minutes into the 2nd quarter one of my boys says..."is this the much improved secondary you been talkin' bout?"..
I took a deep breath and said....JASON CRAFT IS STRAIGHT GARBAGE!
I explained how Fakir was hurt and how this dude sucked thru most of the preseason.........he got burnt all night....looked confused....

Amen to that. It usually takes a season. I think another coach must have intervened. It was a fantastic theory from the start though. Craft on Burress. Good call!!

On another note......Craft Blows!

Craft = crap I no who i want to see FRED THOMAS WHOOOOAAAA I believe he had some good plays in the game... Fred thomas is a bad MOFO!!!!!! Craft is just bad ....

Injury prone? Where did you get that? He was hurt in his senior season and played through it all year, except I do believe a game. He had no injury problems the year before. You must be thinking of someone else.
