Why is it so hard to see that Matt Stafford is... well, Matt Stafford?

The Rams D was gassed by OT and they couldn't move the ball. Without throwing it. SF was playing like their lives depended on it and was just better in all phases down the stretch. Kudos to Jimmy G and his Boys.

I will never believe in an honest outcome where the Saints are concerned until A) They win another Super Bowl or B) Roger Goodell is no longer the NFL Commissioner. Goodell has it in for Sean Payton. That much we know for certain. What more needs to be known?

Sean McVay was 45-0 when leading at halftime 🤔.

They are a soft team. I hope they get throttled next weekend.

I'm still thinking McVay didn't want to take his chances with the Saints D. He's probably right he's not as dumb as he looks.
Still can't figure out the revolving door of DC's for the Rams. Phillips, Staley, Morris now they are looking at Vic Fangio.

Go back and watch Drew Lock's second long TD run. There is a Chief that went out of his way(pulled up short, threw up both hands in a "pardon Me" style and actually leaned backwards) to not touch Lock at the 1 yd line. Scripted!!

I heard a guy at the bar remark that ever since McVay ran out on the field like a 14-year old girl to celebrate the TD with Higbee, the Rams didn't look the same.

I think the Rams performance was a fair accurate reflection of Sean McVays coaching ability, which reflects the results you would get if you gave any random unspectacular 30-something assistant with poor understanding of the game and poor leadership skills the reins to an nfl team. McVay lucked into a job with a roster including the #1 pick qb, the best defensive player in the league, half the salary cap cleared for a spending spree, a gm willing to trade every 1st round pick for 10 years to win now, and a commissioner willing to double refs pay to make the franchise a showcase for the key new nfl market. This propelled a talentless amateur coach to impressive win totals and stats, but the truth came out in the superbowl when the rams scored his age in decades. The Rams are a collection of clashing egos with no leadership and almost no youth playing in week 18. Collapse is imminent. If McVay want to start over as an assistant rb coach, about where he belongs, I would give him a chance.

I only watched the end of the game but I'll take your word for it. McVay just doesn't look the part of an NFL head coach.

I said it a few weeks ago...Roger did not want the Saints anywhere near his playoffs. I stand by it.

Look at how Covid was managed, how it clearly affected some teams profoundly and others less...precisely because the rules were altered in season, giving some teams breaks other teams did not get.

It's one of the reasons I was not as broken up this year as past years. Covid gave Roger another tool in his shed, and he used it. Who wants to 'win' that kind of a tournament...one where there is no attempt at fair play and not so much as an attempt to cover it up. "This is what we're doing", sayeth the league. Who's going to challenge it? The NFL is 'entertainment' of course, so they can fix games all they want. It's not illegal...

Cozying up to Vegas is alarming, or would be if fair play was being remotely considered, and ironically it may be this closeness with gambling that ultimately reveals the truth...
