Saints DB C.J. Gardner-Johnson is selling gear featuring his viral moment with Tom Brady

We all know that Gardener-Johnson is the type of player you love to have on your team, but opposing fans hate him. I used to watch NCAA tourney games with my late father-in-law. He was a renowned high school coach here in Louisiana (won two state championships with Minden High and is in the Louisiana High School Hall of Fame - 1988) and knew a tremendous amount about coaching. I commented about a Duke player that always seemed to get under opposing players' skin. He said he didn't have much of a problem with it unless it caused a problem with his teammates. He implied he'd dealt with it before in his heyday and set the players straight.

That's my take on Ceedy. He just needed to learn when and where and with whom. From what I read after the incident he was calling Thomas "slant boy". Thomas should never have let it get to him. I'm sure he learned from it, as well.

Steve Smith of the Panthers. I'm sure the Panthers fans loved him, but I was dying to see him get knocked into next season every time he played the Saints.

Except Cee Dee didn't punch a kneeling teammate who wasn't even looking. Sucker punching someone is unacceptable unless you are outnumbered. Then Yeah!. Knock him out and start running.
