Free Agents:
Sony Michel
Jerick McKinnon
Phillip Lindsay

Draft:
Dameon Pierce
James Cook
Brian Robinson

I think the free agents I mentioned would be some good, cheap options to bring into the fold. Melvin Gordon would be a big help but he probably still wants a pretty decent check. I really like McKinnon. He’s a big threat as a receiver out the big field. I know we need another bruiser but with Kamara likely missing several games we need a receiving back as well.

As far as the rookies, these are guys I’m thinking we could snag in Round 3 or later depending on how things shake it. I like Dameon Pierce the most to fit our needs. James Cook is similar to the Kamara mold so I wouldn’t mind having him either. Brian Robinson I’m unsure about, but he’s a big bruising back. I wouldn’t mind us drafting two of these guys if the Saints don’t pick somebody up in free agency. Most of our focus should be on offense.

Do like a healthy Jerick McKinnon...

Really starting to like Pierre Strong and Ty Chandler on Day 3; Strong reminds me of another Pierre, just better athleticism; Chandler has home run ability...
