Cardinals @ Rams (No-Call) Gameday Thread

Just one thing is tolerable in this game, Rams lose by a key blown call.
Also OBJ takes his Jersey off and throws it to a Hot Dog Vendor at half-time.

This isn't the Rams from last week - at least not last week's 2nd half.

So now it puts us in an awful dilemma Rams or Bucs or do we just watch Woman's Bikini Volleyball on ESPN+

If the Rams even play half as well as they did in this game, they blow out the 49ers and we're in the playoffs. I honestly think the **** was rigged. There is no way they look as good as they did in the first half last week and as bad as they did in the second half unless it was on purpose.

I'm pulling for the Bengals to win it all. I think Burrow is Brady 2.0. It may be a bit too early on that team to win it, but I've got my fingers crossed. Burrow will win multiple championships and get in the way of Mahomes a lot in the future.

I would literally trade every player on our team for Burrow given the opportunity. Bengals were really fortunate to suck at the right time, though they always sucked, just never no 1 draft pick bad.

Burrow has developed so nicely. His footwork in the pocket is incredible. And his accuracy is really dialed in right now. He looks like vintage Kurt Warner.

With the Cardinals out, I'm 100% pulling for any AFC team now; like the Chiefs/Titans/Bills/Bengals far far more than any of the NFC teams.

It was...Interesting to me that the playoff game that gotohell chose to attend this weekend was the niners game...the team he changed the COVID rules to help.

I'm recording the volleyball. Will be watching the game live however.

Re: Cardinals @ Rams (No-Call) Gameday Thread

I've watched some, if not all, of every Cards game this season. (I had six total Cardinals players on my legacy fantasy roster between offense and defense.) Their offensive line has been abysmal recently. They are the polar opposite of the Niners it seems right now. The Niners, when healthy, are capable of overpowering the Rams lines on both sides of the ball making the Rams weapons on both sides neutralized. The Cards, however, have had the same issue with the Rams the last two meetings. They couldn't get enough pressure to affect the Rams' offensive weapons, nor could they establish any offense themselves.

Ironically, the Niners dropped both games to the Cards, but both games were early in the season when the Cards were on a roll with Conner and the 49er's were limping out of the gate losing five out of six during the stretch when they faced Arizona.

The referees suck! It's why I don't watch football anymore. Players no longer determine the outcome of the game. It's on Godhell's refs. Aarrggghhhh......

Especially JEROME BOGER & his crew.

I’m so glad the NFL came out and said he won’t be officiating anymore games this post season.

Remember Jerome and his crew with the ticky tacky “roughing the passer” crap on Ellis vs the Titans? Changed the whole complexion & momentum in that game.

If the fix was in then why did they boot Jerome and his crew from the post-season given they were doing what they were instructed to do? Don't get that. Unless they simply suck, as you pointed out before.

Jeff is paid to speculate. You're just an idiot.

Did they fire them? Simple question.

After what I've seen in the last few weeks, the 49ers have now taken over the #1 spot in the NFL Favoritism Power Rankings.

The answer is obvious...gotohell can now claim the league “did something” about the problem. It makes people like you (guido) that follow the game so closely buy their line of crap. In reality, the ref did his job, got the high profile, high market team the win, likely got paid under the table, and now gets an early vacation.

Re: Cardinals @ Rams (No-Call) Gameday Thread

People are making a LOT more noise about fair play. Don't think for one second Roger isn't hearing it, so they (his media 'pros') debate about half-measures like full-time refs to deflect ignorant people (guido) from what is actual. Roger is about 10 moves ahead of his sheep (guido).

Yes, our resident idiot flies Roger's flag, but more players and coaches are speaking to it...or not speaking to it, because they fear the league's wrath. That's why Roger hates Sean. Sean called that spade a spade and paid a hefty price...and is still paying.

Indeed! It’s one of the most liberal, progressive cities in the country and it’s where Kaepernick got his start. Without a doubt they want to promote them as much as they can. They also want to promote their new shiny stadium. Promote Nancy Pelosi’s backyard and the BLM movement. It’s all part of the same machine.

Not many teams wanted to see the Saints in the playoffs. Tampon least of all.

If the Rams and the 49ers end up playing and the Rams beat the hell of them without any resistance, my head canon is going to be that this season was rigged and the 2022 Super Bowl will have an asterisk.

As far as I'm concerned it already is. The minute Roger changed the Covid rules mid-season I was all but checked out. Truth is I was already there. Watch enough football and it was no stretch to say this team just wasn't there - despite our resident fanboy and dickhead guido and his 17-0 baby dumbness. Be it injury, covid, cap management, etc. Once MT went down we were on the grill, and by the time Jameis went down we were crispy.

The biggest disappointment I have is that we didn't get to see Book in any meaningful way because our o-line, not very good to start with, was a complete wreck.

Roger needed more revenue, so we got an extra game, but the underlying benefit to the league was more records falling creating faux interest on that front as well.

Asterisk. Do over.

It’s hilarious to me that the NFL uses the act of booting this officiating crew from the remaining postseason like it’s some kind of punishment when in fact a crew or more NEEDS to go each week of the playoffs anyway because there are fewer games each week. So gotohell’s punishment of barring them from future playoff games this year is as hollow as hell.

Its only meant to appease idiots like Guido and his fanboy ilk. The rest of the world understands.

I'm all for black/african american people getting fair treatment by the police. I think it's a very complex issue though. I'm not going to get into that. All I'm going to say is that the BLM movement has pretty much been hijacked by marxists and isn't even about black lives anymore. I do however think it is a poor argument to retort "All lives matter" in response to black lives matter when the whole purpose is to highlight that blacks are treated differently. Whether they are treated differently is also a very complex issue. I don't think the protests for "Black lives" will help any issue because of the complexity of the issue. That's pretty much all I'm going to say about the BLM movement on here other than the whole issue is pretty much a political football that the democrats use to gain support. I would have a real discussion with someone willing but I'm not going to make any other generalized statements because I don't feel like getting into a *****ing contest with someone on the issue. I think that's kind of how most white people are at this point. They are either liberals/marxists or whatever, or they don't want to get involved because any statement can trigger a massive response that they don't feel like dealing with.
