"Wild Card" Coaching Candidates
Apologies in advance for posting this, but it was just too funny not to share...

Lol on Brees.
Seriously speaking though, I'd like the idea of Joe Lombardi as HC. The Chargers were very explosive (top 5) offensively. It helps to have Hebert as your QB but still. |
Re: "Wild Card" Coaching Candidates
Bahahahaha! Oh geez. Some of that is just pure rubbish.

Re: "Wild Card" Coaching Candidates
Andrus Peat. If he retires to take a non-player job he could forfeit prorated bonuses and help get our salary cap to place where we can think about adding pieces. Michael Thomas for offensive coordinator. Taysom Hill for special teams coach.

Re: "Wild Card" Coaching Candidates
My wildcard vote is for Kyle Turley, but it is being met with resistance from my son who recently returned from a trip to Jamaica, for some reason his choice is Ricky Williams to lead us forward. Crazy

Re: "Wild Card" Coaching Candidates
Saban is going to win the national championship easily next year, no way he'd leave Alabama. I'd take him if he'd come though.
|
Re: "Wild Card" Coaching Candidates
Most people don't realize how made Saban has it. He has literally achieved god status in Alabama. If he wanted to use the cheerleading squad as a sidewalk or a park bench they'd assume the position.

Re: "Wild Card" Coaching Candidates
Bring back Jim Mora. He is only 86, in great shape and should be good for 4 to 6 years.

Re: "Wild Card" Coaching Candidates
Here are my dark-horse candidates I think we should at least think about. We should consider "buying low" on coaches with good experience. Going with the young hotshots with the big names to be elevated is always a gamble.
Jason Garrett - Don't laugh. Coach Clap is arguably a better head coach than an offensive coordinator. I think he can do a better job and be somewhat liberated without Jerry's overbearing influence, and he has a lot of experience as a head man to draw from at least. Mike Zimmer - Let Carmichael mastermind the offense, and add a good defensive head coach to get the most out of our defensive stars. A brain trust of Zimmer/Dennis Allen/Kris Richard could be scary good for the defense. He's a tough dude attitude-wise - kind of like Mora Sr without the theatrics. |

Dark horse?
Mike McDaniel - OC for the 49ers |
Re: "Wild Card" Coaching Candidates
Speaking of HC vacancies, it appears Packers OC Nathaniel Hackett will be announced as the next Broncos Head Coach.
Potential landing spot for Aaron Rodgers ? |
