See the arbiter Robinson's statement yesterday and how it was stressed that the Massage Watson penalty was 6 games because it was non-violent. Sorry to be negative, but I have the sense they're going to make an example of Kamara and they just set the precedent to do it..
I have a feeling the defense is building a case with all of these requested postponements that may end up showing the "alleged victim" was the perpetrator.

And don't forget, Judge Robinson's sentencing is not binding if appealed by the league or the NFLPA. What Watson did to those women was far more atrocious than what the three men (the ones that did the alleged kicking) that were in the company of Kamara did to that guy.

All that said, we'll most likely have to wait until after the season to see what becomes of the accusations. At that point the league wouldn't want an example. The best they could hope for is that it disappears. Don't forget about the gun incident with Lattimore. It went away and the league couldn't have been more pleased.

Saw that Brady gets nothing for his shenanigans with Miami while Miami brass get the shaft. Looks like the league is more interested in Brady playing than any justice. Must be nice to be a "star" player that brings in plenty of fans attention. Bottom line. MONEY. Which is more proof of the NFL screwing teams out of playoff and superbowl opportunities and favoring others.

Nor should he have. Tampering is a rule set forth for the franchises alone. It applies to a team or their representatives talking business with an individual or their representation while that individual is under contract with another franchise. Any player or coach or any other individual under contract by definition cannot be at fault under the rule.

Justice is served perfectly by having Ross and the Dolphins' franchise getting hit with the punishment. They are the only ones at fault. You should be happy those money grabbers got want they deserved.

Damn . Wish he could just pay the guy off. He learns from it and the guy gets a fat payday so he can go back to sitting on the sidelines on 3rd down.

We may have to cut him. Are there special cap rules if a player gets in trouble with the law and goes to jail?

Yeah. That would be pretty shortsighted.

Um, this is America, remember? I believe there is suppose to be a trial first. Until then the person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a questionable doubt. I read it is going to be extremely difficult to prove that Kamara was the one that inflicted the "substantial bodily harm" (broken orbital) associated with the felony charge given at least two of the other three defendants reportedly stomped on the man's head while Kamara supposedly only delivered some punches. This is the opinion of a legal expert published several months ago. The article has disappeared off into Twitter land and I can't track it down again.

The expert also said Kamara is more likely to receive a misdemeanor battery verdict, if convicted of anything, which wouldn't result in any jail time especially given his clean record.
