Draft Fun
I remember years ago many of us replaced our avatars with the player we thought would be taken with the Saints first pick.
I'm pretty sure mine was Clay Matthews! Who is yours this year? |

Re: Draft Fun
All I remember is the one year where we did the mock draft and I had the Vikings and selected Adrian Peterson prior to real life, and the rest was history.

My wish is for an offensive lineman but this is who I think will be the guy:

Re: Draft Fun
No clue. But I just don't see us taking a QB in one of the worst years for QB's in years. Some WR would be my guess.

Re: Draft Fun
Sorry, I don't remember anymore. It was probably an O-lineman though. I do love the big uglies. You win in the trenches. This is a great thread though.
However, I do remember women from different nationalities, blondes, brunettes, and red headed Avatars each month. There were some beautiful women Avatars that year! |
Re: Draft Fun
I'm still making up my mind. I think once FA is settled, I'll have a good idea of who I hope we land.

Re: Draft Fun
I don't remember but probably Clay Matthews because I've wanted a great linebacker almost every year.
Didn't we all change to bikini pics at one point, too? |

Been banging the table for Trevor Penning since the draft season kicked off...

Me too JP. He’s as mean as a junkyard dog. We need that aggressiveness in the trenches. I’d start him at RT first |

Ram played LT at Wisconsin. He didn’t need to play LT cause we had Armstead but this kid is coming from a small school and RT would be perfect for him until he catches up to the speed of the nfl. He’s already a mauler in the running game. Which is what a RT is supposed to be better at than the LT. Which is supposed to be better in pass protection. |

One thing to consider is the overall makeup of the line. How are the guard/tackle pairings on the left and right sides most efficient? Would Ramczyk/Peat and Ruiz/Penning hold up any better than Penning/Peat and Ruiz/Ramczyk? I guess those are questions that Nielsen will be asking himself. I imagine they'll give both alignments a chance early on in camps. |

Yea, it should be interesting from preseason to week 1, who they roll out on the o-line. I hope the light comes on for Cesar. I feel this is make or break for him. |
