Re: What’s Left At QB
Well With so many picks already and the inconsistent play of hurts I’m not sure Philly has any need or desire to trade Minshew. Not sure which of the two I would prefer but it’s looking more like Winston will be under center for at least this year, unless he’s sour about the Watson deal. Hopefully he’s will be a professional about it but who knows with these athletes nowadays.

Re: What’s Left At QB
Offering the Ravens something for Tyler Huntley could be an option. It might take a 2nd round pick. He started strong and struggled in his last two starts, but those last two starts were against Aaron Donald and TJ Watt, and he is young with upside.
Depending on what the Lions do, Jared Goff could end up cut and available for pennies. I think Jared Goff is better than Gardner Minshew. Jimmy Garappalo is likely available for trade, but I don't like the idea of trading picks, paying 20 million, and dealing with his injury history, all for I think 10% better than Jared Goff, who might be available with none of those issues, or Gardner Minshew who might just be a younger Jimmy Garoppolo. If other teams think this way too though, there is a chance nobody bites on Alex Smith 2.0 and he gets cut and is available cheap, in which case why not. Jordan Love is likely available cheap for trade, but looked bad in very limited game action, and the Packers have been hesitant to create any buzz around him. If we go with Taysom, who will likely get injured in the first few games, or don't acquire another QB, Love could be worth a mid round pick just to see what happens. |

Re: What’s Left At QB
I'm warming up to the idea of Gardner Minshew. I've been watching his film ever since I saw somebody post his stats in the forum. I was impressed by his numbers, and I like what I'm seeing on the tape. Not to mention, he went to Brandon High School in Mississippi. I like it.

Re: What’s Left At QB
Well I would ride with Winston or Minshew but have no interest in any of the other quarterbacks mentioned in thread including Jimmy G. Not a great year in the draft either. Maybe you roll Bortles out there and give him a second shot in the NFL. LoL. I’m at a loss with the QB situation in the NFL right now. I can’t remember a time when the position was so top heavy on talent.
