There are always gems available if you know where to look.

And sometimes those gems are unrecognizable to others.

Rashid Shaheed - Weber St

I don’t want to jinx the guy but his highlight reel on kickoffs is Deonte Harty 2.0.

It’s either a 60 yard return or 6 points with him.

Definitely someone I’ll be watching @ camp.

So Abram Smith was a LB @ Baylor, but took over the role @ RB when Lovett left the team? Wow, versatility will definitely get you a spot.

Tony Jones Jr better stay out of the tent this season, otherwise the rookie could take his spot on the roster.

They'll both make the team?

Good question but it appears Abram is more athletic.

Hell, I wouldn't rule out Mark Ingram as a potential cut. This is year 12 for MI.

Camp will tell the story.

Watching his highlights are so exciting! I think he has more potential than the RB from Florida everyone was so high on just before the draft. Can't wait to see him in preseason.

He also led the team in tackles while playing LB for four games as a Junior. Can he kick?

IDK. I hope I’m wrong, but as a runner he’s just hitting holes on cutbacks. Not great speed or size. I’m not seeing anything overly impressive. He had good college numbers I guess, but I don’t see him being the guy if AK is suspended for a while.

I saw a few juke and spin moves as well as his ability to truck and push a few men back. He ran a 4.5 40, but I agree he looks slow on some of his runs.
He seems to have good vision though
Honestly I never really know with RBs because all their highlights look good, but 1600 yds in a season is no small feat idk how big or small the conference is. I have a good feeling about this guy

Hope so. My pop in Austin watched a few Baylor games and he’s high on him too.
