I actually like the new squad better than the Saintsations. The Saintsations were basically a dance squad. The SaintsKrewe are actually cheerleaders in the same vein as good college squads with the gymnastics and such being an integral part. The throws and lifts they perform are pretty impressive. That's something you really only get to experience while watching in person.

Definitely preferred the Saintsations; when first moved to Old Metairie/NO, when 21, roommate and I would run into a pack of them when we'd go out...

Sometimes it was some of the Uptown/Tchoupitoulas partying bars, once on the WestBank at the Top, and then at Bennigan's; always a fun crowd...

But, I'll say this - that full-on gymnastic cheerleading is no joke and is some of the most difficult displays of athleticism you'll ever see...
