Betting lines for all 17 Saints games in 2022 are set

I'm seriously considering placing a set amount bet right away on all 17 Saints games to lock in those lines. I have a feeling they will start moving once the public sees what the Saints will actually be on the field. I would be shocked if they didn't cover the vast majority of those spreads.

I know nothing about sports betting... is there a name if one bets the entire year like that? In horse racing, I am familiar with exacta.

Not really, unless you roll them all together in a single bet and then you'd have a parlay (the winnings of each are then automatically bet on the next, etcetera, etcetera). Lose one you lose them all. Win them all you can retire on a $20 bet.

I'm talking about 17 individual bets based upon future point spreads. As soon as the bet is made you are locked into those individual spreads. Or should I say the casino is locked into those spreads.

It's kind of like when one of my fantasy players is going against the Saints. I used to bench them, but then one game my QB went off for 4 or 5 TDs and the Saints lost. Which meant the Saints lose and I miss out on fantasy points. Since then I start my players against the Saints and if it costs me my fantasy game... good.

Well, there were cases where the Saints were rolling along and they would have a game they were favored in and I knew it would be close. Friends up here would say “You guys are gonna kick the Redskins ass” or something like that. And I knew it would be a close game. So as friendly wagers I’d put 50 against the saints minus the points with friends. I never bet on a Saints playoff game or put a bet on them in Vegas.

It’s a better bet than the market right now.
