2022 New Orleans Saints: Training Camp

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; It seems weird to put Kevin White on IR. He and Book should be looking for work elsewhere....

That Penning is one nasty fella.
And I love it(Speaking of football of course).
I wonder how many game stopping scuffles he’ll get into.
I’ll say 20, at least one per game.

Honestly, I don't think he has been in a scuffle since the one that got him booted from the third practice. The guy's smart. He seems to learn his lessons well.

Well, training camp is just about over ... for some reason, it felt like it FLEW by. Now it's time to look forward to the 9/11 opener vs ATL.

The final pre-season "tune-up" game is on Friday vs San Diego.

I'm curious to see what starters (if any) play on the opening drive on offense AND defense.

I can see both sides of the argument, but I’m a bit nervous that so many starters haven’t played yet in the preseason. Maybe more guys will get reps in the final preseason game. Hope it doesn’t take the team a few weeks to work the kinks out.

It might be to keep the starters fresh for a long season but who knows?
