Trautman speaks on something he learned at Tight End University over the offseason and how it's helping him in the pass game this camp.

This is a load of bull****. Go watch the first quarter of the Texans game and focus on Ellis. You'll see exactly the opposite.

You been at practice? I put a little more weight on what Ross Jackson is seeing in person all day every day and what the head coach that has seen every snap all offseason has seen than what someone else thinks they saw in limited TV coverage of the 1st quarter of a preseason game. But that's just me.

I'll admit they see more than I do at practice, but they showed every play of the game on TV. I trust my eyeballs more than "coach speak" which may or may not be truthful. Remember George Bush told Brownie he was doing a hell of a job after Katrina? He was fired not long after that. Sometimes people say things that are the opposite of the truth, maybe to make people feel better.

I definitely understand your point.

Ellis is still trying to figure it out and Baun isn't a fit . I sure as hell hope Werner heals up soon.

LB depth is dicey.

yes. Part of the reason they signed they guy who played at Washington,
Bostic. Gotta have LBs even if you do run a lot of Nickel looks.
