There's a three part WLAE New Orleans (PBS) Documentary Series Glory Days: The Catholic League of New Orleans that gives great local history...

Glory Days II includes the Hebert-Fourcade Rivalry; Bobby Hebert played for South Lafourche (in my district) and Fourcade played for Archbishop Shaw (Westbank)...

Has great recollections, including Fourcade claiming (some SL with a wink verified) the SL fire department soaked the field to take away Shaw's speedy receivers...
