Guess we'll see.

"The player the Saints brass really needs to see something from is right guard Cesar Ruiz. He’s one of the team's rare recent first-rounders who hasn’t been an early success. He’s earned overall grades of 53.8 and 57.6 in his two NFL seasons, although he'll be only 23 years old at the start of the 2022 season."

I'm glad someone else is seeing what I see in those trenches.

Guard play is a weak spot. X factor - Dougie M.

At this point, Tier 4 is fair.

I think what you are seeing is a pretty common perception, K. Now, there may be differences of opinion on WHY we were seeing what we were seeing. I'm just not ready to label Ruiz a bust yet (not saying you are) given the unique set of circumstances he's faced to begin his career. I agree that Doug Marrone could be an x-factor that could have a huge impact on the entire offensive line.

Just wait. Doug Marrone just might be coach of the year if he gets Ruiz to play better than what we've seen from him in his first two years in the NFL. I personally don't have high hopes for Ruiz at this point but I know Marrone is a great O-line coach. So we'll see.

Just get Penning ready and I'll feel better about our protection schemes. We've got to get Winston upright and healthy.

Winston is already upright.

We just need to keep Winston upright. Better?

I'd rather upright than uptight.
