Lutz go Saints!!
 

I’m not saying anything Saints fans don’t know…but with a decent kicking game the Saints make the playoffs last year. Added to a strengthened WR, DB, and Oline corps we get Wil Lutz back! Him and Blake give us a hell of a one-two punch in the special teams game.

Saints were a 9-win team in 2021 without Lutz.

Imagine if we had Will.

Having him back healthy is definitely a PLUS.

Having Wil back for the extra points would have got us in the playoffs last season alone. I saw an interesting stat a few weeks back showing that our PK corps (Maher, Rojas, Johnson, and Parkey) combined for an 83.3% FG success rate in 2021. Wil Lutz had an 82.1% rate in 2020. It's XP's that killed us with the 2020 crew only hitting 81.6%, while Wil hit 98.3% (57 for 58) in 2020.

I guess Thomas and Winston aren’t the only ones we are counting on to rebound from injuries.

I hope Lutz comes back strong but I'll temper my expectations. That is a tough injury to come back from.

I'm not sure if we were a scene from MASH last year or a scene from The Walking Dead. Either way it was ugly to watch and a full production crew could not have made it any better. Hats off to Dr. Rhea for bringing science to the table.

That's the funniest thing I've read in days and I read a lot of funny stuff to keep my day light and enjoyable. :roflmao:
