Meet the New Orleans Saints coaches: Kris Richard

Richard is entering his second season with the Black & Gold.

Kris Richard originally joined the Saints as secondary coach in 2021 and adds co-defensive coordinator duties to his responsibilities in 2022. Richard has 15 years of NFL playing and coaching experience.

When he came on board I was so excited for what he could bring to the team. He has done a fabulous job of improving this already good secondary.

He will be getting offers soon...too soon.

You'd think, hell I would have thought a lot of our D coaches would have been poached the last few years but they seem to be in a blind spot of the rest of the league. Hope it continues for at least a couple more seasons.

Well, he was in Dallas and didn't t get a whiff much from there. Didn't he in fact sit on the sidelines for a year or two prior to his coming here?

More consistent play from LATTIMORE in 2021 & the maturity of a promising rookie in Adebo has Kris Richard's fingerprints written all over it.

Glad he's still here.

We are going to have the best secondary in the NFL by mid season once Maye gets back from suspension and the unit gels. There are some exciting times ahead for Saints fans!

Can you say pick six? If not, then you might want to learn to. Hopefully, it won't be Winston throwing them.
