The Tre'quan problem
Since it seems we have quite a lot of competition at WR, why not shift TQ to TE? Outside of Hill there isn't much of a field. He is a very good blocker (granted mostly downfield) and is a pretty big dude.

Re: The Tre'quan problem
We already have a TE who drops passes.

Re: The Tre'quan problem
He'll drop passes as a tight end too.

Re: The Tre'quan problem
Well for one, Trequan is entirely too light in the a** for full-time TE duty.
Four years in, if the best thing we can say about TS is "he's a good blocker" ... that's a problem. I wouldn't miss him if he gets cut. |

Re: The Tre'quan problem
Trequan is a good blocker, but he just doesn't have it as a receiver. His routes look lazy. There doesn't seem to be any urgency in his route running, he just meanders through a slight crossing route.
He doesn't look like he tries to get separation and his hands are questionable, so he catches with his body instead. He reminds me of a guy I work with. Real potential, but just doesn't seem to want to be good and is happy with just being someone who's placed in the starting rotation because "he knows the system" Honestly, in my opinion his spot should go to someone with a little more fire. Remember Willie Snead wanting to make the team so badly that he tried to steamroll Brandon Browner. That kind of intensity. |
Re: The Tre'quan problem
The team will be making a very costly mistake to keep Trequan over Shaheed.
