In the past Allen was working on defensive strategy when we had the ball and Payton was working on offense when we didn’t. Now Allen has no time to work on either.

Which is why they should let Nielsen call plays

Great punch out by Maye.

Definitely a fumble.

And we’re still running it.

Thomas losing his feet again - are those flip flops or cleats?

Announcer said timing off. Looked like Winston just blew the throw into the dirt behind him for second time

Winston isn’t adjusting. He is consistently behind Thomas on timing throws, it’s time to throw where he can catch rather than where he should be at a certain time?

Allen is as dead set on running as Payton was on passing. Different but same.

I’m watching the NFL mix and there is bad football being played all over the league not just with the Saints. As long as coaches continue to sit there starters in the preseason this is what you will get the first couple of weeks. Buffalo chose to play starters and look how that turned out. It’s a long season so I wouldn’t put too much stock in one game. See 2017 and 2018
