If you were getting paid to fix this, what would you do?

What would I do?

Not panic!

We are 1-1! Plenty of time yet!

But, if Winston IS playing injured then he needs to step aside and let Dalton/Hill take over, at least for a few games!

Defence did great today! Offence needs to step up now!

As always, some very dubious calls against us, AGAIN! Nothing we can do about that though!

WHO DAT! GEAUX SAINTS!

Agreed SaintFanQ.... We totally lost this. Ingram losing that fumble killed it. Refs screwed us huge though.

Well they better get their act together for when they get to London! I've got tickets for that game and they cost a fortune!!! :-)

Agree … Ingram’s fumble was a momentum killer.

But the second half was the JW we knew and loved when he was in Tampa … No love from me today on that old JW showing up on our team. It’s going to take some time to feel like he can play like a winning NFL QB after his reversion to the old JW. And I have been in JW’s corner up and until the 4th quarter today.

He can not win a game but he can’t just throw away the game like he did in this 4th quarter.

Same here and I'm really not ecstatic about going if this is how the Offense is going to look.

Psh! Send me a plane ticket and I'll go! They will bounce back. I'm just concerned at Winstons injury... Red Rocket time? We shall see.:bng:

Leave it to the professionals man lol

DA and team leaders need to grab these players attn.
Carmichael needs to be sent to the principles office with Sean Payton waiting on him behind the desk.
This one should be a good teaching tool to wake them up.

It's early but come on now the offensive play calling stands out at times as just some wtf downs.

We had Brady unraveled again but missed the opportunity to bury him and his tantrums.

We let them off the hook and let them gain a little confidence this go round.

With them being so shorthanded due to injuries we missed our shot to pour salt in their wound.

That was a fluke, the bucs and crybaby brady get no respect!
But they do have a defense.. dammit

If you're paying me to fix this does that mean I'm an honorary NFL referee?

If you being a referee would keep the ball in our running back's hands on key plays, and prevent our QB from throwing back to back interceptions, and could draw up some great offensive plays that actually worked, I'd pay you.

Some keep saying that everything changed on the Ingram fumble and that's not true. Yes, it was a killer and it took points off the board but the defense stopped the Bucs twice after that on 3rd down only for the refs to call 2 phantom calls that gave them a new set of downs. You can call it crying about the refs all you want but no way in the world was that a personal foul on Roby or defensive holding on Tuttle. The D got a little gassed and gave up the TD pass. Making the D stay on the field after those 2 terrible calls started the domino effect with Winston forcing throws since we were down by 7. The other moment no one else is talking about is how in the hell do we have 12 men on the field for a punt. That also extended a drive for the Bucs. I just can't see all the blame falling on Ingram. Like I said, it's early in the season and I believe a lot of our issues is the lack of playing time the starters had together. Not a fan of the scheduling either starting us off with 3 division games out the chute.

The story of this game was the turnover battle. Ball security.

This was the best time to catch Tampa "slipping". We were at home, they were short handed on the O line & WR (no Akiem Hicks,Godwin, Jones DNP & Evans out last 10 minutes of the game).

After our initial offensive drive, I'm not sure what happened.

This game had that same 2019 Bucs (JCook fumble changed everything) vs Saints playoff vibe to it.

In two games, 10 sacks on JW. Running screens on JHurst side is a no no & Ruiz is a liability. >> He's a bust. Get a solid guard in the off season or draft a dawg.

Saints gotta do better offensively. We're getting tore up in those trenches.

Lattimore has become a liability

Trade MT, JW, AK, for some really good picks or vets that care; trouble is, no other team need more Prima Donna or inconsistent QB:dunce:

Lots of pain here today, not surprising. Interesting the differences in views.

Many reasons for the loss. Most have covered here. I’ve been pretty Pro-Winston so far, so I’m gonna be a little here too maybe, But here is my take on his INTs…

The first was not that big of a deal IMO; here is why. A couple deep shots had been taken already in the game that they had just missed on. It was obviously part of the game plan. He had overthrown the first 2 so he put a little too much loft for the INT. Ended up being a punt He hit on the 4th one and the WR fumbled.

The second one wasn’t good, but he was pressing to make something happen. You can’t praise a hurt guy for lighting it up in the 4th last week against ATl and then get on him too much for a bad choice against a much better Tampa team. They (bucs) shut down cowboys last week and now the Saints this week. The refs and the 2 fumbles were a bigger issue IMO. Just my take.

That's almost exactly how I described it while talking with the wife on the long ride home last night. Agree 100%.
