If only Thomas's agent had contacted me about my 25k per year wage when Thomas was holding out for 20mil per year. Saints FO could have saved some serious money!

I think you misunderstood.

Thomas would clearly not rather play for a lower wage, when he held out until he got 100mil.

That was my point.

Oh, I understood. I think you may have missed something. He signed that $96,250,000 contract after "holding out" of a few days of off season activities on July 31, 2019 well ahead of the start of the season on September 9th. His agent handled his upcoming opportunity as well as any of us would wish ours would if we were in the same position. Good for him and his agent. Well deserved and didn't cost him the opportunity to miss any of the final five plus weeks of preseason activities or more importantly miss any games.

And absolutely NONE of those are his choice. Most of those came from him actually being in a game playing when he SHOULD have been on the bench. The most recent coming from a crappy artificial surface in an outdoor stadium (?) in Carolina.

There's no way he not more pissed off that he can't play than you or any of us.
