Starting to look more promising for Olave to be back Sunday.

So do we think Dalton will start again this week against the Bengals?

If Winston doesn't practice full by Friday ... yes.

Doesn't make you a hater at all.

Winston simply hasn't played well. Coaches should have never allowed him to play while injured anyways. Been saying this for several weeks now.

It's hard to win in this league but when you see these Saints injury reports every week and we have TWICE as many as the opponent... deflating.

Agreed, especially when the team spends picks to move up and select guys that don't contribute.

Payton Turner has played in 8 out of a possible 22 games in his career up to this point.

Our strength and conditioning never really gets it right, year after year we always seem to have long injury reports mostly filled with starters.
I think I saw something the other day that said the only game Cam Jordan has ever missed was due to COVID protocol. The right players are there, our FO just seem to have a habit of selecting players with a history of injuries because the potential of them making a play for a quarter of the season seems like it'll pay off, and it doesnt.

Nope, Olave has played and played very well.

It's mainly on the O line and D line.

Looks like Olave is on track to pass protocols for this weekend.

I can tell you we aren't alone on the linemen injury front. 3/4th of the teams in the league are missing key starting linemen. In fact, Penning was targeted to return as soon as early November. Everyone else appears to be getting healthy now.

Turner is the ONLY lineman on either side on the injury report besides Ramczyk listed as "rest".

The injury situation has become customary over the past 5-6 years. At some point you have to point the finger at the coaching and training staff. I know the strength and conditioning department has been shaken up but something has to give.

Who in the world are we beating on Sundays with all of these key starters out? Not many. Landry, MT & possibly Olave could miss the battle with Cincy.

Right now it's Callaway, Trequan as your WR core.

Taysom Hill & AK need help on offense.

Re: Injury Report - Week 6 - Bengals @ Saints

It's maddening to see the injury reports week after week, year after year.

Michael Thomas is basically stealing from the team at this point.
Payton Turner, I thought Davenport was bad with injuries but this guy just can't sneeze without hurting himself.

Every single week we seem to have double the injury report that the other team has.

K Major 10-14-2022 03:00 PM

Re: Injury Report - Week 6 - Bengals @ Saints

Final report:

Lattimore
Thomas
Jarvis Landry
Deonte Harty
Payton Turner (he's never healthy)

All are ruled OUT on Sunday vs the Bengals

I wonder if the saints are leveraging for a trade to get back some draft picks for next year. Thomas & Landry injuries didn’t look that serious to miss 2 games

Thomas had a turf toe on that crappy outdoor artificial turf in Carolina. Those can vary in seriousness. Sounding like Landry's sprain might have been of the high ankle sort on that same surface in the same game.

I'd MUCH rather have a healthy Landry and Thomas than any future draft pick. I would expect the Saints front office to be thinking the same way.

This is broken? Want to buy it?

I would love draft picks but it ain’t happening. We are on the same level as the Falcons and Panthers but they are rebuilding and Loomis is still convinced this is our year. I doubt Thomas and Landry have any trade value and Thomas’ contract is probably structured with a giant cap hit if traded. But I think we should be trading players. We need to get young. Being one of the oldest teams in the league is not working in our favor this year.

This is a seriously in-depth look into the positioning within the division, trade value of players and structure of the team … just kidding more Loomis hate start to finish.

Idk man. I’m pretty sure Papa Smurf never even had a bad thought or feeling. Ol’ Gargamel just hated him because he was a Smurf. Gargamel had an unhealthy fixation on catching smurfs.

My question is how many smurfs did Smurfette smurf? I think she was smurfing the whole village.

Chris Olave ... still "questionable" after suffering that nasty concussion last week.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him sit this game out against Cincy.

If he is out of concussion protocol I fully expect him to play. We need to win this game if we are going to save those season and right now he is our best player.

One game isn't going to "save" the Saint's season I'm afraid.

Olave needs to do what his body & head tells him. If he sits, I would totally understand.

The prima donna sitting the bench again with athlete's foot....get rid of him already.... all that money and no significant contribution to the game

should have let him go 2 years ago....as i suggested.:dunce:

I suppose if the team loses Bako will blame the loss on Loomis.
