Boston comes to Metairie

Throwing a crazy idea out there. I will be going to my cousin’s Wedding in early December the weekend of the 3rd. I’m staying off I10 near the Causeway. I’ll be busy seeing family most of the time but if any other Who Dats here want to meet up for a drink while I’m in town let me know. Maybe we could get a few of us together. I should have time Thursday afternoon/evening or Maybe Friday afternoon.

Tell him to enjoy his freedom before he ties the knot and starts carrying that ball and chain around.

The Chain attached to a RUGBY BALL no doubt?

FatBoy Pizza has a nice atmosphere. But maybe a sports bar or something. There are cool places in NOLA for natural GTGs, micro-brew places. Haven't really looked in Metry since I live in Old Mandeville. There's a couple of nice places right on the lake in Old Mandy. Just pinged Haleaux. :bng:

Oh c'mon Boston. At least pick a place where Guido doesn't have to work while you're there!

Who Dat all! What’s going on in Metairie? I flew in last night. Man my arms are tired!

Anything exciting going in in town?

I hope you're able to meet up with some of the black and gold folks while you're in New Orleans. Most of them are probably even more entertaining in person than online. One of these days I'll find out too. Be careful where you go in New Orleans. But if you've never been you have to check out the French Quarter. Also, pick up some New Orleans Saints paraphernalia while you're there.

Had a hurricane at Patty O’s And some beignets at café Dumonde. But a couple Saints Harts and shirts. So, took care of the touristy stuff.

If you want to try really delicious breakfast go to the Fleur-De-Lis restaurant in the French Quarter. We do breakfast there almost every time we're in town.

Before every home game we've started going to Daisy Mae's just few blocks up from the Dome on Poydras. The food is good (the alligator, but the bottomless Bloody Mary's are a great pregame warmup. Order a free refill to go just before heading up the street to Champions Square.

I can’t believe how much I ate at the wedding reception. They had servers walking around offering hot appetizers of..
Crawfish pie
Crab Balls
Crab Puffs
fried shrimp
fried fish
fried chicken
shrimp and grits
stuffed mushrooms
mini quiche
and the best pigs n blankets I've ever had. I had to turn down food because my hands were full of other foods.

That was before the buffet was opened up.

That sounds awesome! The really big question though is....was it open bar? I hope you had a great trip and brought home a ton of souvenirs and Saints memorabilia.
