Just can't watch this team's failure of coaching and play calling working together to lose this game.

No Kamara should have been way more involved. FGs could have been TDs. These coaches have a problem with him and it's obvious by how under utilized he has been.

Two catches WRs should have made. Multiple holds on our DL that weren’t called. The false start that wasn’t called. This game was a microcosm of the season.

I knew it was a loss after they scored the first TD. You knew what was coming.

The play calling in the 4th should get this coaching staff fired… and MI should be released. If he doesn’t give up on that play we pick up an easy first and run out a bunch of clock.

Either Kamara is injured or he’s checked out. Forrest Gump is running better than he is.

Man…stop with the refs. This team is trash. They are their own worst enemy.

I agree, why did he run out before getting the first down? I know he was hurt, but he literally stepped right before it.

Not saying we don’t shoot ourselves in the foot. Doesn’t change the fact the refs screw us. Can’t both be true ?

Lol, i think you're right that he's checked out, by may be losing confidence with how little he's being used.

Kamara average like 1 yard per carry.

Or maybe our oline sucks. Or maybe DA chose to not go to because of the fumbles last week.

That excuse is getting old. This game was lost due to coaching (play calling and personnel decisions) and players not performing.

The refs missed calls on both sides. They pretty much let them play tonight.

BakoSaint 12-05-2022 10:19 PM

Re: Saints @ Bucs Game Night MNF Thread

The refs are trash and the coaching is trash and the roster is depleted from salary cap woes and trading away picks needed for young depth. Mickey Loomis knew the refs hated us and he ignored that fact when he traded our first round pick in a qb rich draft. Loomis needs to go. He is the core of the problem. He hired the coaches and he bet the farm that this was our year to win it all not rebuild. He bet wrong. Time to pay.

You have to keep using him. Get him involved. Putting him in 1 play a series is terrible. Feed him like Henry, he'll get some 1 yard carries, but then bust a big one.

I think and I hope I'm wrong this was DAs version of the dog house. Not how you respond to your guys. You put the ball in their court to show you what they are made of. I think the Saints limited AK on purpose just my theory. Offensive playcalling is a disgrace. Personnel groupings might be even worse. Andy Dalton sucks.

meitze 12-05-2022 10:24 PM

Re: Saints @ Bucs Game Night MNF Thread

Yes, i agree with that. Dog house for sure.

I blame coaching when something has worked early in a game and they dont go back to it. I dont blame coaching when something has not worked early in a game and they dont go back to it. I think when the run is effective ans we stick with it we win, but that does not mean that when the run is ineffective and we are getting 1ypc that continuing to run on even more downs to get to the same total of runs as our last win would work.

Ehhh....multiple ways to look at that. Are we running different run play? Are we switching it up? Or are the Saints runs "telegraphed" "predictable"? Bringing in your 1st rd LT who just played his first game last week is pretty telling when he ONLY comes in on run downs. Taysom Hill runs don't get me started sometimes I wonder how he has any success because he run 85% when he at QB. Saints have issues across the board when it comes to the Oline

We just watched a POORLY COACHED team allow Brady to work his closest to zero seconds left on the clock - miracle win. Unreal.

Rell&Gold 12-05-2022 10:35 PM

Re: Saints @ Bucs Game Night MNF Thread

Sadder part is the Bucs needed a comeback to win our whole division really does suck. Beat ATL or Beat CAR? Saints can't do both?

Boston Saint 12-05-2022 10:42 PM

Re: Saints @ Bucs Game Night MNF Thread

Two weeks ago Kamara fumbles twice and fans say “Payton wouldn’t put up
with that!”. This week it’s all “Why don’t we use Kamara?!”. Unreal.

Coaching has its issues. Players have their issues. Injuries have their issues. Refs have their issues. It’s not an “excuse” to acknowledge that all these factors play a part in the outcome of a game.

Yeah, cause Brady has never done that before. What a miracle! 🙄

And we watched him do it again tonight. To us. Actually not much of a miracle against such a poorly coached team.

I was a fan of the DA hire and keeping Carmichael as coordinator, but I will admit I was dead wrong. The past two weeks have showed what this team is and the results are in. Finish the season and bring in a whole new staff and try your best to get a pick and get a good young qb in here and start this party over. Yikes that was heartbreaking, but not surprising.

10 yards 10 yards 10 yards.. wait give them more cushion.. 11 yards 12 more yards..TD..Saints Lose.. Fans lose.. Players still get paid the same.. Some poor fans have years taken off their lives.. 10 yards.. 10 more easy yards.. Ridiculous

That Eye of the Tiger has left the building it seems..
Sean would've been up there prematurely firing the cannons.
Where's that fire?
Players were scared to go back to that sideline after boneheaded mishaps when SP prowled our sideline.

I have never understood the prevent defense when your only up one score. You play the defense that got you there and if you get beat you get beat, but just to let TB12 sit back and pick you apart is atrocious. Please go find us a damn coach. At this point I don’t care who it is but give me someone with some fire.

DA could have been an amazing hire if we kept our first round pick. Throughout his head coaching career he has always delivered the goods in draft position. The big mistake was hiring a coach whose greatest strength was draft position and then trading that pick to the Eagles. Loomis both hired Allen and traded the pick. I would be happy to fire Loomis and keep Allen knowing we would have a great draft position in 2024 and could rebuild. With Loomis we cant rebuild. We can’t even use the IR without running it through the public relations team Re: Lattimore.
