I’m not sure he can. I don’t think we have the staff in place to bring out his skill set anymore than the Panthers or Browns did.

If he can read defenses , and react fast enough, isn't he an upgrade ? He can pass the ball to Shaheed and Taysom and Olave .

Many of us thought he was a young version of Drew Brees with his quick release.

I was a supporter of Baker and thought he got a bad break in Cleveland. Watched him play in Carolina this year and it was, well, not good. He was way off on his throws. Not sure he is an upgrade over our QB room now. Could be that coaches and system and targets were the reason though.

I don’t think he reads defenses quickly. I was high on him coming out but I’m off the bandwagon. I made excuses for him but nah, I don’t see it anymore.
