New Sunday Ticket Deal Could Send Cap Soaring

The new $2.5 Billion per year deal with YouTube could send the final 2023 cap number well above the earlier projected $220 million level.

NFL Ticket Going to YouTube TV

There's a thread on this over in the NFL forum. It's better on YouTube as far as I'm concerned. Now we can get rid of Directv which has horrible customer service. And the deal is massive at $2.5 billion per year. The 2023 cap is going to fly past the estimated $220 million.

There should be more options. Directv (prices) are a joke anyway.

Good thing I stream everything so...

Thank you, Nvidia Shield.

YooToob TeeBee is outta hand price wise. I certainly don't pay any TeeBee subscription service, other than YooToob Premium. But I think they began allowing some sort of a la carte service. Maybe they will do the same for the Ticket.

I seriously doubt if any Corporation like YouTube will allow any services without paying through the nose for them. That's the free enterprise Market at work. According to a lot of people in power if corporations couldn't squeeze the consumer for every last dollar then we would be living in a socialist society.

Youtube TV is undoubtedly a better platform. Hoping the price won't be outrageous.

Direct TV can die a slow, painful death for all the crap they've deal out over the years.

The Nvidia Shield is a must have device. I combine it with my Roku sticks, NFL TV, Hulu+Live and it makes a perfect Plex server.

Supposedly part of the deal is that they cant lower the price. I expect thaf incraasing youtube subscriptions and bargaining power with streaming device platforms is the bug play. I expect some kind of deal where they dont technically lower the price but they do, such as Sunday Ticket is $300 but you get 6 months free youtube tv when you sign up.

Definitely cool, but not necessarily needed depending on your TeeBee and networking skillz.

Simply put, it's a game/streaming device. The "shield" works with almost any TV that supports HDMI. I've had mine dating back to 2015.

There is a newer version out called the "Pro" w/4k that has been a hot seller on Amazon as of late. All you have to do is download a paid service (APK) to the device and stream away. I rarely have buffering issues.

Like I told The Dude this past summer, make sure your internet speed is good & use a VPN :bng:.

The Firestick Cube is also a good alternative if the Shield is not within your budget.

FYI ... :smokin:

Verizon offers free NFL Sunday Ticket to some new customers

In an attempt to add even more subscribers to its services, Verizon announced a great promotion for NFL fans.
Starting July 27, Verizon will offer new subscribers to its mobile and home internet plans free NFL Sunday Ticket exclusively from YouTube and YouTube TV.
