Heart vs Head

Heart:
I want the Cowboys to obliterate our nemesis the Bucs. I'm Sufferring from TB12 fatigue and would love to see him get routed after far too many games where he got let off the hook and got favorable calls. No love lost for most of the players on that team, especially punk Mike Evans. Bury 'em Cowboys!

Head:
I want the Bucs to rout the Cowboys and put McCarthy on a very hot seat. Perhaps Jerry Jones will enter the bidding war for CSP and he's the right guy to drive up the price. And if the Cowboys want permission to interview CSP? Fine - if they also give us permission to interview Kellen Moore for our OC. I think he's a solid play-caller who could unlock Kamara, Olave and the rest of our clan. If not maybe McCarthy could have his second stint as Saints OC and would be far better than what we have now. Let's do this.

I really want the Bucs to lose.

Every year he's the beneficiary of favourable calls or defensive wins (Brees and Winston basically gave them wins), yet all we hear is it's because of "how good Tom is."

Might be asking too much as the Cowboys might choke as usual. If so, I'm just glad the Vikings lost.

My wife and I just discussed this dilemma ten minutes ago. We both agree with the Tampa take and why we want them to go down for the same reason. That's why she's leaning the Cowpatties.

I'm still torn, not because of the possible Payton part. I don't think McCarthy's going anywhere win or lose. I just have always hated the Cowpatties and love watch the local fans hide their gear for years until they have a chance again.

YES! Always glad for the Viqueens to crash and burn in the playoffs.

I guess I'm leaning toward the Bucs because they have no chance at advancing very far. I just want to keep the Cowgirls 0 for 31 years since winning a road playoff game.

:D

I’m loving the McCarthy as OC idea.

The Giants honestly surprised me, they took it to the Vikes with zero hesitation.

It wouldn't have been as close as it was if the Giants didn't get a TD called back for a double motion.

*The only redeeming entertainment in a Bucs win, would be watching Steven A Smith laugh his azz off.

I refuse to concede a selection where only sh1t choices exist. I have no side in Cowboys vs Buccaneers , Republicans vs Democrats, or Russia vs Ukraine. They can all burn. :bng:

I like the 49ers to come out of the NFC. The AFC has 3 teams that I feel are top-tier (though they didn't exactly play like it this weekend): Bills, Bengals, and Chiefs.

Teams I don't feel will win the Super Bowl: Cowboys or Eagles

After watching the highlights of the Bucs v Cowboys game, was Brady really as bad as he looked or wasbthe Cowboys defence really good! Maybe it was a bit of both? The Cowboys kicker did himself no favours though! FOUR MISSED EXTRA POINTS! Wow!

When an organization gets embarrassed, key people get fired. When an organization doesn't fire key people, the fans will continue to get embarrassed.

Crazy how quickly things change in the NotForLong league. Leftwich was being discussed as a Head Coaching candidate just two years ago.
I like Leftwich because he's a toughguy. I'll never forget his teammates carrying him down the field after a play because he couldn't walk.

When you fire key people annually you become the Lions. ;)

9-8 (and second place in THAT division) VS 7-10 (and 3rd place in OUR division)? alright.

You have 907 total posts and 899 of them are most likely gripping or moaning about one thing or another.

If you have to fire people on a regular basis then you are obviously hiring the wrong people. If this cycle continues then it's on the employer to hire better employees. You may need to reevaluate the hiring process from top to bottom. However, there is something to be said for the continuity the Saints had for the last decade and a half. I think the key is hiring the right people the first time like Mickey Loomis has done much of his time with the Saints. Sure, he's had a swing and a mess here and there but he has pretty much nailed it on the people that he hires.

If we stick with this current lineup, it's the fans who will be run through a grinder.

Fortunately, I don't think the current lineup will be here next year. I would not be surprised to see a massive overhaul in the coaching staff to help develop a rookie quarterback in a new system. That's it, I think we will be switching systems on offense and need the coaches who are familiar with that type of scheme.

This, right here, is often overlooked and poor talent acquisition skill is not limited to the business sector. I have friends that stopped talking to me for a bit because I got tired of listening to them b1tch about ex's and pointed out they wouldn't have that problem if they had made better choices.

If you want a glimpse of the general skill level of talent identification that mankind possesses one only needs to look at divorce rates and politicians.
