Senior Bowl
My friend has a press pass and for years we went to the Senior bowl every year but it's also the same weekend as the pajama party in Pensacola and the pajamas won. Senior bowl practice is the best place to really get a feel for the players and watch them going through reps with coaches. I still get fired up watching the senior bowl because it is signals the start of the draft and the promise of a new season!
QB, DT, OG , and RB are the key positions where I'll be focusing my attention on Saturday looking for Saints coaches on the side line. Tyler Davis- DT from Clemson is a top 20 player I'll be keeping an eye on. At the positions of need who do you like? |

Re: Senior Bowl
The New Orleans Saints have 125 interviews set up for the Senior Bowl. We have several coaches there to evaluate players who might fit our system. We have a habit of finding good players at the Senior Bowl and that is also where we initially met Jeff Ireland when he was unemployed at the job fair called the Senior Bowl.

Re: Senior Bowl
Well... Ruiz did finally come around. But we need help all along the OL. Peat needs to go. We need young blood to take over. Hopefully the younger players we do have are all ready to step up.

If they have a healthy line of Penning, Peat, McCoy, Ruiz and Ram - I think they can be a dominate line in pass pro and run blocking against most of the defensive fronts around the league. Even more so if they can get a replacement level rookie from the draft to take over for Peat. I think I remember Ruiz bringing up in some interview how beneficial Strief's coaching had been for his development. |
