Haz
I don't know Haz as well as many of you, so I must ask - Has he always been a whiney f**k? It's really starting to chap my fanny. When there's a bad play or a bad call he seems to waste alot of time throwin' the "F-Bomb" around rather than paying attention to the matters at hand. He may be a genius at X and O's. I dunno. But I rather have someone a little more cerebral...
There. I said it. And I feel a little better. I think. :? |

Not sure that's necessarily true. But he certainly doesn't come off that way. To me, anyway. 8) |
I don't know what Haz is thinking half the time and I wouldn't call him a real braniac
|
Can we say, perhaps, that the old school "letting the F-bomb fly" and brow-beating players into respect has passed him by?
Searchin' for answers, here. I dunno. 8) |
Here is the way I see it :
A man should at least be able to master his craft . Hasbeen - former linebacker who turned into a linebackers coach and then a defensive coordinator . As Head Coach , Hasbeen consistently has an underachieving low rated defense with one of the leagues worst linebacking cores . Shall I continue ...... |
True dat 08!
Been wondering the same... But AFW....Geaux Saints!!! |
.. I've been saying it for years now!!!
.. The only thing Haslett accomplishes by his *****ing and insults to the refs, is to assure his team's play is going to get called tight, and that the not-so-clear calls will go against them... ... at least he doesn't have that bald guy behind him anymore... ..it is one thing to call out a ref on a call, it is another to fling personal insults. |
No No... this is Has's job. You don't let the players get mixed up in arguing calls ect that is the role of the Head Coach. I have no problem yelling and *****ing he does, its a part of his job and if you look at the other coaches they all do the same thing.

I think if you're gonna preach discipline to your players, then you should show some yourself. There are many ways to coach. There's not one that's gonna guarentee a winning program, but you look at the sucessfull teams there's a common thread that they don't make stupid mistakes. That's what's been killing us for years and years. I don't know, maybe the city is just cursed. Are we built over an Idian burial ground?

The cursing doesen't bother me. I really don't care.
Ahh....I can't see what I'm typing. |

Haslett has demonstrated that he is not a good or successful coach. So, he should have been let go rather than extended. The front office can't pick talent but once someone dons the black and gold, the front office has loyalty that knows no equal. Clearly, the Saints were not prepared to play Green Bay, even though GB was down through injuries and poor performance. How can that be? How can grown men, so called professionals, make so many errors in a single game? Where is their concentration if not on that 60 minutes, play by play? What are they focused on when game time begins? Haslett has never had control of this team and he still doesn't. When there is no respect for the leader, the unit will not follow and will not achieve.

I don't think it's so much of a curse! I just think that the spirits don't like stupidity! And Hasbeen & Brooks have only pissed them off even more!!!!
