Scott was taken @ pick #251 in his draft class. At the bottom of the 7th round. He was undervalued and OVER DELIVERED as a pro. Maybe one of these 2023 UDFA WRs make an impression (see Shaheed).

Sean now has Callaway, Lil Jordan & The fish Trauman. Maybe they'll call for Smith :rolleyes:.
We should cut TQS and give someone else the chance to earn the roster spot. He might be a good downfield blocker and I understand that need but be brings next to nothing with catching the ball reliably when red zone and pressure situations. He has missed considerable time which doesn’t help IMHO K.

Every WR in camp has had the chance to earn the roster spot. It's not Tre'Quan's fault they haven't stepped up and done just that. Maybe this will be the year that six WR's are hungrier and able to contribute more than him. I'm all for that at every position.

Or maybe this will be the year that a WR with less seniority breaks into Trequan’s house, guesses the combo to his safe, steals the naked pics of Mickey Loomis, and gets his own 5 year run regardless of performance. It’s too bad Lamont Murray did not do this to Mark Ingram

That happened with a promising DB last year... Who went to the Dolphins where he passed his physical there and was signed . I think he's still playing there as an UDFA. Trill "the thrill" Williams.

Will we get the real story, I wonder ?

Every team has differing prerequisites I would imagine for physicals. Don't forget that the Dolphins once failed a player named Brees that the Saints signed soon after.

Usually it seems to be the conditioning aspect. At least those where they've shared the details at all. Then again, Foster Moreau failed his initial physical, too.

Maybe. Just maybe, this is the tear that Tre'Quan Smith doesn't line up as a Saint which signals the defense that he's only there to block. We'll be less predictable without him. Now, that man sure can block and I give him credit for it. We have other blockers now with a higher ceiling who could possibly do better.

It would be great if he was released early in training camp so he could find and fill that role on another team. Because I wish him well...elsewhere. I've wished him well here for 6 years and I'm ready to move on.
