Amazing how it's changed (roster) since Dennis became HC.

IMO that "I like our WR room" philosophy held us back & advancing while Brees was still under center. Who are you scaring with Callaway, Smith & Lil Jordan & Kirkwood?

Blockzilla (Trequan) has one foot off a cliff & the other on a banana peel in 2023. Slots #4-6 will have to excel on special teams/gunners to make this roster.

I see legitimate competition from these younger guys & I like how DA & staff are addressing needs (DT, WR, QB), in subsequent drafts.

In speaking in terms of recency.

Cooks was gone after 2016 & MT hasn't been healthy & contributing for several seasons now.

Michael Thomas - obvious concerns, until proven otherwise. Just being fair
Chris Olave - legit #2 receiver and threat for yards
Rashid Shaheed - is he a legit #3? We'll see

These are essentially the same guy. Neither has more than 34 catches in any season.

However, will definitely agree having Juwan and Foster provide a ton of value at the TE position - and that both play it differently

Edwards is going into his 4th year and already has a 500+ yard season. Tre is going into his 6th and hasn’t done that.

Olave is going to put up WR1 numbers. He’s that good.

I believe Shaheed can excel as the #3, but if he can’t we know James Washington is a legit slot.

No argument on Olave. He's a star.

Shaheed is still a wait and see for me. New QB. Won't surprise anyone. Can he replicate or improve on last year??

Edwards is a mystery. Raiders gave him away after that 500 yard season in which the kid played clutch down the stretch. Why? And then why did he flop in Atlanta? I get that team wasn't exactly airing it out but...

I love the James Washington signing IF that foot isn't a problem...

Now that was a brutally honest take from Mr. Choke (Hebert) on a couple of players.

Basically called out our Alpha Dog Michael Thomas ... "he should live in NOLA while he's playing, should be at OTA's" etc. To an extent, I do agree with Bobby. Meanwhile, Detilier could be right on Davenport (stays healthy & gets 10+sack in Minny :rolleyes:). That would sting.

Good to hear how impressed they are with Alontea Taylor (remember many of us claimed he was a reach in the draft when guys like Ross/Underhill/Triplett believe he's looking like a steal now ?) in year #2. They love the leadership traits & how it is translating to the field. Is Adebo in trouble? We shall see.

That was only a ten-minute clip but juicy :p

Camp should be interesting this year.
