New Orleans adds legend to coaching staff for preseason
 

Afranchise legend is coming over to help the New Orleans Saints from behind the scenes, with Jeff Duncan of The Times-Picayune reporting that former defensive tackle La’Roi Glover has been added to the team’s think tank, at least for the preseason.

“The Saints will have a special addition to their coaching staff for the preseason: La’Roi Glover will be the team’s Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching fellow. Glover is a Saints Hall of Famer and one of the most decorated defensive linemen in franchise history.”

I know the dome patrol tends to get all the love, and deservedly so. But that D line of Glover, Joe Johnson, Norman Hand and Darren Howard was nasssssty. Glad to see La'Roi coming back into the fold. I hope he does great things and maybe lands a full time gig with the team.
