The screen pixelated on me before the Chiefs 1st TD and switched to ABC live news. Now I’m sitting here on hold with HULU and the screen switched to softball.

He looked good last year too.

I just see a composed QB making plays.

Even the announcers are repeating his awareness in the pocket.

Indeed, his college film is impressive but I've heard zero about him.

Haener doesn't look like he's pushing Winston out this year. Next year? Maybe. Let's see how he develops.

Carr played with starters. Winston played with backups. Haener has played with players that hope to make the practice squad. Take that for what it is.

Yep.

The only reason I’m calling him out is that I watched him here in high school (Arlington) and in the state playoffs.

Glad he got a chance to showcase his talent in the NFL.

We'll get a chance to see Haener in the next couple of games. He does look tiny by comparison, however. Subtle difference between him and Jameis ... Jameis likes to tuck the ball in and run, whereas Haener continues to scan the field.
